Oli today

Gave the ball away at least on 6 different occasions, some in very dangerous positions...not one of his best days, his head went down once or twice. However, he picked himself up and had a very strong last 25%.
Maybe the Hudson knockers would start to deal in statistics and come to the factual conclusion that he is not our worse player.....something perhaps that DJ realises.

i noticed a visible improvent in him after Koumas came on for Bellamy; i reckon this is because when everyone (myself at least..) saw Koumas warming up we assumed it'd be for the struggling Oli

as it was, i think the fact that Jones kept him on gave him that bit of confidence he needed. it seemed to work. hope he can improve because when he plays well we're pretty much unstoppable

I agree. I thought, for once, Oli had a bad game. However, when I was looking through the pictures I took for the club, I saw that I had several of him winning the ball in defence and also just outside the Norwich box.

He covered a lot of ground during the game and, to be honest, if he has a bad game - and we still win - well who cares!

I was particurlarly impressed with the encouragement that Jay Bothroyd showed him. Just after Jay had received his booking he put his hand on Oli's head (by way of encouragement). I got a nice picture of this. It was after this point that I thought Oli came back into the game.

He is keeping his best game for the Jacks.
