Does anyone on here think he's Premiership standard or merely a very good Championship player? I think the latter, I don't think he's up to the Premiership and, if we go up, I don't think we should really try and sign him permanently. He is an excellent player for this level though

I think he's an outstanding player in the Championship. I also think he could do a good job in the Premier league with the right players around him.

I think he is coasting through games at the moment, and with better players around him and playing against better players if we are promoted, he would thrive.

Either way, if financially possible, I think we should look to make his move permanent.

I seem to remember Gary O'Neil , James Harper , Eddie Newton and a certain Jason Koumas being in a similar position to Olly at the mo ????
They didnt cut it in the Prem but were outstanding for City BUT give Olly time to develope and he could be a bloody nugget here and if we go up !

To be fair tho to Gary O neil i think he plays well most of the the time in the premiership. I remember Eddie Newton when he had his loan spell at us he was a hit g8 dayz !! that was the season tho correct me if im wrong that we missed out on the playoffs as we lost to crewe Alexzander if my memory serves me correct !! i think they should make ollies move permanent as he has seemed to have gelled g8 with our squad !!

I think he can handle his own in the premiership, he looks so relaxed and dominant for us in the middle in the Championship, he's got Premiership experience which would also be a boost if we got there for any players that have not played at that level before.

If DJ does not make a permanent move for Olly then there's something definatly wrong in my head!

A friend I know who is a Stoke fan doesnt think he is prem standard and simply just a very good championship player.
He is a player I would hope DJ would look to sign if we went up though, even if not first choice he would give us plenty at the top level.
