The Jacks are desperate for fans.

Thu Oct 28, 2010 9:48 pm

I am Treasurer at our local Rugby Club (Apologies for swearing) and i was opening correspondence when i come across a letter from Swansea FC (After disenfecting my hands) i read the letter which offered the following:

For groups of 20 or more a 25% discount on all tickets

Group Organiser goes free

Scarf for £2.50 with voucher

For 50 people+ a free bus within 25 mile radius of the Liberty

The Jerks are getting left in our slipstream their support is piss poor and they are desperate for support and this letter proves it

I have just moved to Cardiff, but will always be an Aberdare girl. Can't beat it :ayatollah: A few Jacks in Aberdare I know of about 4. But I knoooooow loads of Bluebirds.

Don't know about you, but I find the plastics who support Liverpool, Man U etc always keep an eye out for CCFC scores and ALWAYS want us to beat the Jacks. Not bad for a town that is the same distance from Swansea as it is Cardiff ;) :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Jeff there's a bus full of Jacks who go to each home game anyway from Aberdare ( I know coz 1 of my mates goes ) so I cant see this offer taking on , its something that CCFC should try but I cant see it working tbh . Turners always runs a bus for big Sunday home games but everybody else is happy to make their own way down on a Sat or a Tues nite .....

On another note Ive heared QPR are only going to give us the top tier for the coming match ( 1700 approx ) and tickets going to be given out on a loyalty basis for Ambos , so that means I wont get 1  But Im booked on Turners Tours anyway and still going , QPR sell home tickets on Ticketmaster so I will try there if Im stuck :ayatollah:

ps did you call Hannah mate ?

Dont know Han , but it will be at least 3 or 4 aways prior I reckon to qualify for a ticket . Hopefully QPR will see sense and open the bottom tier ? :ayatollah:

Why is it that Cardiff always get such tiny allowances compared to other clubs?! We are having non policing games now without a problem... Could you imagine 4 - 5,000 Cardiff supporting the team down there?? Would be bliss :ayatollah:

A bus full of Jacks you must mean a Mini Bus surely :D Like you said City fans from Aberdare and Mount seem happy to make their own way down but if we all went on coaches i reckon there would be 3-4 coaches what do you think?

PS Do i know Hannah :?:

Ah I know a couple of Aberdare jacks. They take a 48 seater to every home game and by all accounts it's chocka. There's a lot I know who travel from Aberdare by car too. They have been running trips for donkeys years. Fair play to them!
