HONEST OPINIONS

Thu Oct 28, 2010 7:37 pm

Does Anyone Believe The Jacks will make the Play offs/Promotion or Fail ?

As far as I am Concerned they have spent one fifth of the money as we have on wages, This season.
Last year We spent 4 times what they did.

I think this time they might hang in there, But Deep down as long we went up it would not bother me.

Opinions Please :ayatollah:

as long as we get promoted i would not give a toss what they do, but IMO i think they will fall away

i think they might make the playoffs but hope not because i hate the cunts :x

They have hit a bit of form, but that will come to an end this weekend against Palace and again the weekend after when we entertain them.

Mid-table obscurity in my opinion a good 20 odd points behind us come the seasons end. :ayatollah:

We will go up as champions and on the last day of the season the Jacks will be relying on us to beat Burnley so they can pinch the second auto spot.

they have signed some quality players to be fair and i think they will grab that last play off place- they wont be far from us and will give us a good game nxt week -=with our defence i fear what scott sinclair will do

its going to depend on their ability to keep sinclair. i would have thought he has a get out clause in his contract that if a premiership club comes in for him then he would have an option to leave.
with the form he is in at the minute an aproach in january is a distinct possibility i would have thought.
i hope he does go because him scoring goals is confusing my grandson who up to a few weeks ago was convinced the jacks were called swansea nil

that would be f*cking brilliant! the jacks begging cardiff for a win to help them up to the dizzy heights of the premiership - meaning WE take both WELSH clubs up to the top tier of English football!!!

First off as long as our place was secured, then I would be quite happy for Swansea to follow, like the sound on them relying on us taking point off their contenders. We still have a derby to look forward too, and you can't argue that it would be good for two Welsj teams in prem.. However I don't think they will make it I think they will flirt with playoffs up till last few weeks then fail.

the jacks played a lot of good football last season but lacked a good striker, but now they have sinclair i honestly belive this season they will make the play offs at least, CARDIFF WILL BE CHAMPIONS :ayatollah:

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

Difficult to say really. They've signed good players, most notably Sinclair, but they still lack a goalscorer. We have Chopra, even Bothroyd who now scores pretty regularly. They've only got Dobbie and Beattie - not exactly inspiring.

They'll still give us a hell of a game next week though !

I think they will scrape into the play off's.

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

This division is so unpredictable/weak that any side could end up in the top 6!

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

There is a long way to go and complacency can be costly, only believe you are going up when you are up.

Swansea are going about things quietly whilst Cardiff take the press and plaudit's. Blackpool last season went unnoticed for much of the season.

I can forecast both Cardiff And Swansea going up in Automatic style, that would be interesting for the Premiership as well as well South/West Wales!

Good topic to be honest and in my opinion as much as i cant stand the scumbags, ive got a sneeky feeling that Swansea could go up with Cardiff this season. Never the less as long as we go up this season thats all that matters and if we went up to the Premiership before them it would be great braggging rights as in we got to the premiership before them. However it would be interesting to see A Cardiff City vs Swansea City derby on the premier scale. And what players it would attract to both clubs i mean lets be honest Cardiff is such a Beutiful City to go to as where Swansea imo is an ashtray of a town. :ayatollah:

This season i think we have a much better squad than Swansea and imo what ive seen on the football lge show Swansea always seem to have 3 top players as we have alot more and thats not me being biased i just feel we have more pottensial than them. That Scott Sinclair is by far their best signing and would be the man to watch in our game also come January it would be interesting to see which clubs sign who etc. :ayatollah:

After watching the lge cup show also For the record Swansea are now out of the lge cup after crashing to Wigan LOL and i laughed even harder when that Beatties goal was disallowed also they missed out on a money spinning next round tie to Man utd which is funny as funk !!! :ayatollah:

same here BUT it would be good for Wales if both were promoted .......... form wise the Jacks have been consistent top 10 since they were promoted but they do depend on 1 player per season to see them thru . Jason Scotland and now Scott Sinclair and like Forest also their home form is great but not so good away . Defo play offs for them this year it saddens me to say

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

I think they might if they are still there after Christmas

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

I never realised they allowed 'towns' in the premier league??? :D

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

Fri Oct 29, 2010 9:37 am

Hope not.

They have been relatively lucky with injuries (except Bodde. Pratley, Allen and Rangel have had about 6 weeks out each) over the past 2 years which means that their defence has been more or less the same in that time. If Sinclair gets injured and either Williams or Monk then they will struggle. They might have a big squad but there is not a massive amount of quality in there after the first 11.

I'd personally take Williams and Monk over Hudson & Gypes. Sinclair is a very good player as are Pratley and Allen. Dyer flits in and out of games as does Cottrell.

I feel the same, come May they could really be up there, as long as We go up, I WILL BE A HAPPY FAN :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

i cant stand them, however im a welsh man and id love for both of us to be in the prem next season.

my view is that this season there is no team like newcastle last season or west brom even that is gonna run away with this league. the top 2 spots could be taken by any number of teams. they are good enough for auto/play-offs but then so are we & qpr & burnley & forest & pompey etc. this is prob the tightest championship there has been. the only difference between all of the teams is craig bellamy, thank fcuk hes with us

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

i really dont want them up there with us, i hope they lose out on a play off position by either 1 point of better still goal difference...... not very sporting i know but asked for honest opinion :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

I would like them to be promoted with us. The english FA would hate it by having two welsh teams in the premier league. :ayatollah:

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

hate 2 say it bu them and norwich are dark horses i think us and norwich top 2 qpr or swansea town playoff

Hope they get relagated. f*cking hate them :old:

Re: HONEST OPINIONS

I think they will go up automatic along with ourselves they look very strong at the moment, sinclair is their bellamy, and the usual suspects perfoming well , dyer pratley etc, ashley williams is solid despite his recent inept welsh displays and they have just signed some dutch bloke, coupled with a manager who seems on the ball I think they will do it.
