A Question from Rangers

This is a question that was on the Teamtalk Cardiff forum,
jda (Rangers): Question. If Cardiff were to qualify for the Europa league via the EPL, would they be able to play in it? Surely the answer is yes?

Yes. Wasnt this the question prior to the cup final where Platini said if you are in English football then there is no reason you cannot compete

Offically the answer is no as we belong to the Welsh FA. The English FA would refuse to sanction us to represent them in Europe as we are not a member of their syndicate. However if we had won the FA cup against Portsmouth Platini would have given us special dispensation to enter Europe.
