Sorry to put a dampener on this, but why would anyone make themselves look an arsehole at their own expense just so the vastly overrated and incredibly smug Ricky Gervais can make barrel loads of cash while thinking he has uncovered some sort of comedy gem of a programme?

I loved The Office and Extras, but I really can't stand the smugness of Gervais.

It's worth the comedy of seeing Karl so glum all the time and some of the stuff he has to do!

On the Gervais point... Isn't that what EVERYONE in this industry is about? You meet any producer / director / writer etc and you will find the same, time and time again...
