Burnley have sacked nicky bayern after just 14 games following their 4-1 defeat to Lincoln despite leading that leaves them in bottom three!

Wonder if they'll give Bellamy what he asked for in the summer.

Some will say BBM, but it's totally the wrong fit and can't see him even thinking about it.

Good point about Bellamy.

But he's fully committed to Wales isn't he? ;)

At least until the next offer comes in.

Nicky Hayen's appointment as Burnley head coach came as a surprise and, as it turns out, not a good one after he was sacked following just 14 underwhelming games.

Do the club take another gamble? Or should they bring in a Championship expert?

Could a new big name boss be just what the club needs or is practicality required?

Rob Edwards, Steven Gerrard, Sean Dyche and Carlos Corberan are some of the names who have been linked since the weekend.

Rob Edwards has held talks with Burnley about the job there, but they will not be progressing further.

Remember loads of managers turned down Burnley in the summer.

I said at the time that the Burnley job is a poison chalice, they've bounced back to the Prem so many times anything less is seen as failure. Having said that I think it's a much more attractive job now, fan expectation will have been lowered massively
