A forum for all things Cardiff City
Sat Oct 10, 2026 5:29 pm
Cardiff City head coach Brian Barry-Murphy told BBC Radio Wales:
"I'm very disappointed with our performance. We didn't feel as though it was good enough to give ourselves a chance to win the game.”
"We showed signs of what we are capable of in the second half, which probably only heightens our disappointment with how we played in the first half.”
"We created good chances in the second half and should have scored a second. We can't shy away from the fact that we were not good enough in the first half."

One shot on goal the whole game, We Deserved to lose today:
We were not the team we’ve seen in previous games, let’s be honest.
Yes we did our usual passing and controlling for 5 mins.
Defence was awful
Trott Saved us
And it took us I believe 38 mins to even have a shot

Fair comments.
He knows how he wants us to play and we have played well in the home games, need to slightly sharpen things away.
I'm certain we'll bounce back on Tuesday.
Shame on the usual people with what they've said after today's game.

conceded two very poor goals today think osho could have cut out the cross for the 2nd we have got to be more streetwise at the back and defend ugly put the ball into row 64 when we have to need to go at it from the off on Tuesday!!!

I wont pick on individuals, but none of the players who played in wide positions got to the byɛ line. As there was no salech the best way to create was to get to the byɛ line and pullbthe ball back for people arriving invthe box. Very disappointing.

Ned,
other people have to have there say also which is different to yours but no need to "shame" them it's a forum for all and that's what makes it put you will just put off posters posting anything ,unless of course that's what you want total agreement .
I have not said anything personally on the game, i went straight out for a drink and meal tonight to forget the performance.

Negativity is fair enough it wasn't a good performance. The sack the manager gang are off their rockers though

Exactly, I agree we didn't play well. This and QPR away are our worst performances of the season. But I can't respect the opinion of people who are calling for the manager to go at this point.
