This is a relegation tactic , keeping the ball and going nowhere wins very little matches in this league , fed up of this bull shit .
It’s like playing with 10 men when you have Tanner in your team ,
Fed up bluebird

Ever thought our players are just not championship quality? Can change managers all we like but still the bulk of our squad is league 1 quality, shit transfer window will cost us dearly

Our defence has been shit so let's blame............................ Tanner?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

This all comes down to one thing
The transfer window bbm should've been backed better simple as that
I don't blame him or the players plus game isn't over yet

BBM also says there's no point going on about what we don't have. He's right, the constant moaning about the transfer window should have stopped by now.
As for the the main post of this thread, someone's clearly on a wind up which is why there's little point responding to it.

That's for sure
We have to work with what we got now
As I said on another thread we are better at home and I can see us getting a good result against Watford
Sat Oct 10, 2026 4:20 pm
We've tried that already. Bulut sacked Riza in then out then Ramsey for
3 games.
Sat Oct 10, 2026 4:23 pm
If anyone thinks Tanner is a good winger , then you should start watching a different sport . And BBM will get us relegated by picking him all the time , he loses the ball and puts our defence in trouble and his crossing is pathetic , my Nan can cross the ball better than him . Let’s be totally honest about it . I like BBM but sadly he is not cutting the mustard in this league
Sat Oct 10, 2026 4:25 pm
No wind up , I see a relegation team here . These tactics are not working , BBM Is learning his trade too as a young manager and he need to adapt , time will tell , if you think I am in a wind up , come back to this at Xmas and then see

Clearly what we have is not good enough.
Gross negligence by somebody ( manager or club, we'll probably never know) to start a Championship campaign with our current squad.

We won't go down this season and bbm is definitely still the man for the job , however he has to tweak how we set up away from home as we are to easy to play through

Tanner is the club scapegoat, surely you've picked that up by now. BBM out what a mad take!
Sat Oct 10, 2026 4:47 pm
Utter and complete nonsense to suggest that BBM should be sacked.
This is his squad and he's the best man to get the best out of them.
My concern is that the best he can get out of them is not going to be good enough.

The opposition fans almost every game think he is so I'll let those thousands of people know that you think they should watch another sport. He certainly didn't have a good game today but neither did several others so singling him out is just lazy.
Our defence put themselves in trouble enough, maybe if they started defending it would help.
Thanks for your input.

I think he's a good winger and I also think your BBM out post is very telling. Pointless arguing about Tanner great stats this year and last year but your nan can cross better top tier beaut

The hate for Tanner is uncalled for.
He wasn't the problem today.

Don't want him sacked, yet.
Just want him to change things once in a while.
20% of season gone.
1 win - on course for around 35 points.
Played just 2 of the top 10, and none of the big guns.
6 more games to next break.
If we are only on around 12 points by then - time to seriously look at binning BBM.

This is my point , BBM doesn’t seem to have a plan B and if we keep playing the way we are then I personally can see us going down . This system isn’t working in the championship. Surely I am not the only person to see this??

Not the only one, that's for sure.
I've been saying it since the start of the season.
BBM has a track record for it. Cementhead.
Got away with it in League 1, though the signs were there for the ones who didn't just fawn over him.
Will not work in the Championship.

I see many of the oppositions goals being from counter attacks where we have pressed them into their own own penalty area, our full backs are high up the pitch, we lose the ball but then don't have the pace of the opponents wingers to get back and defend a counter attack which is then 5 versus 3. Do we need NG, Bagan and Robinson to stay closer to the centre halves which will make us more solid at the back, but I think this will suit us more with salech up front where we can play longer balls to him and try and get second phase possession. It's a tactical conundrum...tighten up defence but likely have less possession in advanced positions. There's no substitute for pace, and unfortunately we don't have anyone rapid.

Some of our fans don't deserve BBM.
When he does eventually leave they'll see how ridiculous they're being.
Sun Oct 11, 2026 1:48 pm
We been open to the counter all last season too but got away with it , Blackpool away was an example of this , we get undone by one long ball over the top

Worcester you like a teenager in live for the first time, when a parent says something mildly opinionated and they loose their shit. You live of Murphy is blinding you. You need to be honest now.
I don’t and as clearly shown on here by most don’t think Murphy should be sacked. However he he has lied to us, and is currently performing way below what was expected from him. If anyone thinks everything is going to plan then they didn’t hold Murphy to that high a bar to start with. He has a great reputation with us city fans and so far delivered what’s been required, but city fans deserve and want better, I see nothing wrong on want your club to improve. You may well be happy with how we doing and that is fine, your expectations of Murphy’s are probably lower than most which is why you’re not as disappointed as most with our current predicament.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on bbm , I believe we will be mid table by Christmas and everyone will be a lot more relaxed lets not flip out over one bad performance we almost always get a good reaction to a poor game under bbm lets check back in on Wednesday morning

I'd honestly be interested to know who, given the current squad (which won't change before January and probably not much then!) you think would do a better job than BBM and who would reallistically come to Cardiff?
I suppose Pep's free at the moment.

What did he lie about?
We need to stick with him for at least the season & probably more, even if we go down. There's going to be times that people think he should go but most of those think we should replace the manager after every loss anyway, they would also be the first to complain about having 3 managers in a season for the simple fact that they're just never happy & have spent too much time playing Football Manager on their Playstation.
