Tonight is exactly why I wasn't joining in with those getting carried away with the result against Norway at home.
Norway had good chances in that game and played with ten men for nearly the whole game.
Expected to lose the first two but the point is there was very little to take out of the performance, same as tonight.
Denmark needed a penalty to win but they had all the best chances.
Bellamy's substitutions were poor and my opinion on the job he's doing is unchanged. I doubt he'll be sacked or walk by the Euros, so hopefully we can show more when the qualification campaign gets underway with the likes of Wilson hopefully back.
Two more Nations League games left against Norway away and Portugal at home - it looks likely we'll finish bottom.

Unfortunately he’s getting the most out of the team imo. We are not in the class of the 3 teams in our group.

And rightly so Ned,
One win in our last eight games
My worry is Bellamy will not change a very very stubborn person.

I don't expect us to go to places like Portugal and Denmark to win but you want to see something in the performance, which we didn't. Same tonight.
If you compare it to City, we have lost games this season but in most of them there have been good signs in performance. Not the case with Wales.

That's my worry. Bringing on Harris before Moore tonight made no sense, neither did leaving Dan James on the bench (unless he's injured).

We have 1 game in 8. With a lot more resources and in a the 2 nd tier.
Wales one win in 8 in the top tier. Limited resources.
Yet Murphy does nothing wrong Bellamy does nothing right.
Its so blatantly personal because he doesn’t chose the same players Murphy doesn’t choose.

One thing BBM and Bellamy have in common is getting substitutions wrong.
Were you happy with the performance and substitutions tonight?

Didn’t watch it international football does nothing for me. Watched the darts instead. Wales lost at that as well. We are pretty much shit at everything. But way over achieve at a lot of things.

Pretty much every team we have played against this season have come away impressed with us whatever the result and we are up there statistically as one of the best attacking teams in the league.
This is not the case with Wales at the moment where performances are matching results.

Why are you even commenting if you don’t bother watching it? Don’t know what you’re talking about, it would be one thing if we were losing but still giving a good game, but aside from Norway where they had 10-men and didn’t bother pressing us we’ve been complete pushovers

Craig Bellamy suggested the new four-match international window had counted against Wales after Sunday's Nations League defeat against Denmark.
His side failed to build on Thursday's win over Norway as they were deservedly beaten thanks to a second-half Rasmus Hojlund penalty.
It was a third loss in four games played inside 10 days as part of the newly elongated international break.
Head coach Bellamy said his injury-hit squad paid the price for the heavy workload he feels benefits the bigger nations and "puts a real stress" on countries like Wales.
"Physically, I completely agree with the ones who don't like [the new window]. It makes no sense," he added.
"Four games at this type of level… for the other nations, we know who they are because I was in the room when they all voted for it.
"I was one of the ones who wasn't [voting for it], because we know it's a complete disadvantage to us."

Everyone’s squad is the same size and it’s on Bellamy to not bring Harris on instead of Moore or leave Dan James on the bench

This is the point, even with the games going as they are, the players are still over achieving. The results are better than the players available. I never once said they played well did I, we can’t score because are players have no quality that’s that. Just because they not winning doesn’t mean they not over achieving.
Chasetown v Man City in fa cup loose 1-0 to last minute penalty. Had no shots on target and 28% possion. They have still over achieved in that match for the quality available to them.
M4 exile seriously where do think wales should be ranked?

I watched it again which I wouldn't usually do but I parked my arse Infront of the tv . They was on passing it about ok now and then but that's about it, like i said after the Norway game we have got lucky before one win now and then in every god knows how long. It's a below par squad put together compared to other country's and that's on paper.
When they bring on mark Harris who's never scored a goal and Wes burns of league 1 with a reserve Wrexham keeper giving the ball away for the goal it wouldnt matter who the manager is. They usually get a tune for abit just like Bellamy did before then it dies off. Wales don't have the cream selection of players like others even the teams in the group are all ranked higher that Wales are up against plus they are better. That's just football club or country.

Our squad maybe limited but he continuously makes the same terrible mistakes with his substitutions. Our options may not be great but he always decides to bring on players that have zero impact on the game vs potential goal threats. For too stubborn for his own good.
You need to be more flexible in International football, you cant bring players in to suit your ethos or ideas. Especially when you're a country of our size.
And thats not abuse bellars its called criticism. Big enough to take the job, should be big enough to take the warranted criticism.

Exactly. He has Sorba Thomas putting in crosses all night and he brings on Mark Harris rather than Moore. Absolute madness. And he isn't getting the best out of Jordan James who with Ampadu are capable of really competing at this level in midfield.

100% Absolute Madness
But Bellamy is So Stubborn he will not change

You put Harry Wilson, Joe Rodon, Dan James and David Brooks in that side and I would expect a more competitive set of results than we have achieved. I'm still not totally convinced by Bellamy, especially his use of substitutions, but he's working with a squad of grossly inferior players.

Fair point, but it was never about the results for me. Always likely to be 3rd/4th in a group like this. It was that there was so little in the performances.

But on a positive note, we played exceptionally well against Norway, even when they had 11 men on the pitch.
I've watched a lot of this tournament, especially the home nations. Northern Ireland in particular have performed very well but against Georgia last night, you could see them physically wilting as the game progressed and unable to replicate their performance against Ukraine.
As a country we don't have enough quality players at our disposal to enable Bellamy to rest overworked or unfit players and you saw the result against a technically gifted Danish team. As I said previously, field those missing players and we become far more competitive so all is not lost.
