If Fifa approves Ng's availability for Singapore, his first chance of a debut could come at the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia with the Lions facing Australia in the opening game on Saturday, 9 January

Doesn’t affect his registration status as he is homegrown at an English club (Crewe).

Could be born anywhere in the world but if you’re at an English club from 15-21 (I think) you technically count as an English player for registration purposes.

Pleased for Perry Ng, obvious how much this means to him having watched his interviews in recent years.

We will miss him when he goes to the Asian Cup in January but on a personal level I'm pleased for him.
