CARDIFF CITY, SWANSEA CITY & THE BUBBLE

Last time we were in the Championship, our club proposed lifting the "bubble" for games with Swansea City. It was blocked by Swansea.

There was a recent meeting regarding the games for this season.

Cardiff City proposed that supporters could travel independently to an agreed Rendezvous Point. Both clubs and police agreed that was the next logical step.

However, Swansea City expressed reservations over it's immediate implementation. Their reason given was a lack of a South Wales Derby last season which may have resulted in extra anticipation for the games this season.

Therefore, Swansea City requested that current restrictions stay in place.

Cardiff City has reaffirmed it's commitment to reducing and ultimately removing restrictions.

Some Cardiff City supporters will have received an email today asking for their thoughts on the matter.

Bristol City go there with no restrictions and cause trouble so where is their argument?....

They've always for excuse season before last in championship they objected .... think they need to bite bullet and re introduce normal travel but accept there is likely to be some trouble for 1st game or 2 until fans get use to it ...every other bubble as gone time this one did as well

One of the questions on the email says if the restrictions were to be lifted it would mean an allocation reduction of around 40% and would we be happy with that

I just done the questionnaire.
I would like to see the jack games to be treated just as other clubs manage their local derby, getting escorted in a bubble makes 90 mins of football a long long day.just let it be like any other game.
