Rolls royce of a midfielder in my opinion , plays the 6 roll perfect as his passing between the lines is brilliant , enjoy him well we can he will be in the premier league sooner rather than later

I think Wintle is probably better defensively but Robertson can work there because he's a much better passer. No doubt he's not a natural 6 but looks like that's where he'll be this season, I know he played there for Man City academy but obviously different doing it in the Championship.

Away games more of a test because we don't have to do that much defending at home due to how much possession we have.

I agree ned defensively he's nowhere near wintle imo away he's out of position most times vs the better teams that break Vs us like I said above although he's a better passer and engine than wintle.

So because he passes the ball more or has the ball more to pass which half go backwards as that's how we play then he's a better defensive midfielder than wintle . Not in my opinon. Robertson is a total different player as in engine ect for me he's not a 6 which has showed in a few games so far in the middle when teams break on us massive holes hence positioning but Robertson will learn the trade there anyway over the season as that's what we got. Although mk Dons have a decent team on paper tbh but some lesser players there obviously around him when he's actually played and play a totally different way to us.

I remember a couple of weeks ago that Robertson did the press conference and was saying he's covering about 12km per game.

They then asked BBM about it and he said "it might be a bit less but maybe he shouldn't be covering that much ground if he's in the right positions for the position he plays."

They definitely seem to have a strange relationship. It's like because BBM worked with him at Man City, he always sets high standards for Robertson to achieve. Remember the start of last season and he wouldn't even put Robertson in the team.
