From the BBC today, nothing new but thought I'd post it for folks who'd missed it.

Shocking how many are supporting Tan and to no surprise our proud Jack is on there

Thanks for posting, a decent read.

Very strange for an owner not to attend for 1,000 days but also surprised to see that the Everton owner hasn't even spoke to their manager.

Ned you'd be surprised how many owners are absent from clubs? City is run like a man u ect with owner at home and minions running the club day to day (except man u have proper people running club) city need a hands on owner or certainly a football knowledgeable one ... we are a middle ranking club trying to get higher with 3 anchors tied to club! (TKD)

This will get shot down as another tan bashing post sadly ,but yes it's inevitable,
fans will comment on the obvious lack of engagement, it cannot all be the fans fault he has cut himself off from the club ,meanwhile keeping us on a shoestring.
Every season the same thing how hurtful to us fans sell up move on slowly killing our hopes.

What an opportunity this season but the same old, dalman trottwd out to a meeting controlled questions ,and here to tell us the usual and see you next season ,its back to the Mediterranean for me .

I’m always intrigued at what constitutes a ‘Tan fan’, so tell us who is actually ‘supporting’ Tan and why? :?

You’ve made the statement, so justify it, please!

The ones on bbc hys who are saying that tan is brilliant and we are ungrateful and wouldn't exist without him

Bit weird that I have to explain that when it's at the bottom of the article that this thread is about

It's usually classed as someone who does not entirely agree with anti-tan posts? There as to be different viewpoints otherwise site will be more boring for longer than it is already at times!
As for his absence Does it actually matter ? Personally its the other two that is problem they run club day to day and that may be whats wrong rather than tans abstention fron ccs...

I cannot remember the last time I've spoken to someone who supports Cardiff that thinks anything other than Tans time is up. Now there are varying opinions on other things like how bad he actually is but the writings on the wall and he doesn't seem interested anymore

He's not interested anymore

Even kv kortrijk fans want him gone and their manager walked out last week

The guy just doesn't belong near a football club

I think the problem is casual fans don't read into what happens with the club and from the outside looking in it looks like Tan is doing OK

For example putting money in to keep us afloat and clearing our debts into equity(which seems to be the most common defence)

But technically he's not clearing any debt he's just leaving it to whoever buys the club from him because thats now the value of his shares

That’s the thing though. To outsiders they think Tan is doing good. A reason for that. I don’t even think of 20,000 Cardiff fans there would be universal dislike for him.

I’m not even sure what we want now. Whatever he does is wrong. He probably stopped trying to please us ages ago. He lasted longer than I would have.

And the k.v fans? Why did he stop showing interest in them

If you look at the protests their fans had to get him out you would think it was our fans coz they have the same issues with Tan that we do

That's why I find it funny when people blame us for how Tan operates

Not weird, as I hadn’t read the article at point of writing. Equally, I’m not interested in the grovelling media, who have to put up with being somewhat sycophantic towards the club’s hierarchy

I’ve now read the article, so I see where you might be coming from, although the impression your comment gave (not just to me) was that it was aimed at (some) posters on this Forum. It’s not something I overly agree with because generally I see opinions that differ, rather than a ‘Tan love-in’ from the vast majority

Notwithstanding all that, I agree he ‘should’ put in an appearance, but understand why he won’t :ayatollah:

This is what I mean I don't view these as a defence of Tan. I've never understood the everything in the world is Tans fault stuff, he's made plenty of genuinely awful decisions to criticise. Debt to equity is really good for us, I understand what your saying but that equity is only worth whatever a prospective buyer is willing to pay for it. Tan can put whatever valuation he wants on his shares but if he wants to actually sell he'll have to be realistic and eat a huge chunk of debt
