I think BBM likes wingers to have their stronger foot on the inside hence Scanlon on the right when he came on. He showed great pace.
TBH I’d be tempted to start him there next game as his pace and defensive nous would cover NG going forward

I did wonder why he brought Scanlon on rather than Kpakio in that position but you may have hit the nail on the head.

Our wingers don't particularly need lots of pace as they are rarely in positions to use it. Far better having players that can create a yard in close quarters as has been happening. Scanlon starting on the left or right wing won't happen anyway it'll be Tanner and Willock or Tanner and Moylan if Rubin starts. I think he just put him on to give him minutes personally

I think it was more of a minutes thing. But I also thought his pace and delivery looked good and would happily see him play there again

Yes I agree but as you suggest it possibly have BBM food for thought.
