BBM: We played a great game and took enough chances to win

"Third goal was a cracker. Really good. We spoke previously about our calmness and our composure in selecting the right moment to shoot or finish. Ollie Tanner unselfishly passed him the ball and Jack finished. Brilliant goal and the supporters loved it.

"Jack's chance [City's second goal] looked clear but it wasn't, and it gave Yousef a much better opportunity to finish. All those right decisions, and the calmness and composure, were a really pleasing sign to me.

"He's improving all the time and probably just a little bit different to what we've had before. He has great qualities in the attacking sense of being unpredictable.

"He's made a great start and we think he'll improve a lot.

"It was a very important game for us.

"We felt as if we'd been playing reasonably well and we have to do it again. We knew today's game was going to be tough, but we played a great game, created really good chances and today we took enough of them to win."

Can't disagree with that assessment. Could've been 6 and Charlton couldn't have complained.
