“We believe that against Stoke City and Bolton we performed as well as we have done, but we have to make sure that we do that again when all the games are different. We have to play the game on its merits, have a really aggressive game and go for the win, which we always do at home.

“There’s not been one day this season where we’ve not tried to improve. We know we have to turn chances into goals and to win games, and we really fully believe and have the confidence that we can do that.”




Turning his attention towards Saturday’s clash against the Addicks, Brian continued:

“We can’t presume that every game is going to be the same in the Championship, they’re a very strong team with some brilliant individual players.

“We’ve studied them in-depth this week and have a clear idea of what we need to do to overcome, and now the plan is to train on Thursday and Friday, then go for the game on Saturday backed by our incredible supporters, wanting to give them the win we’re all craving.”

Calling for composure amid the chances that City have made on the pitch throughout the campaign’s opening fixtures, Brian explained:


“In this moment where all the players and all of the supporters are so desperate to get a win, we have to remain calm and show composure.

“I would argue some of the shots that we took in previous games are from areas that we wouldn’t normally do it, so we have to remain really calm and make sure our decision making remains good around the box.

“We have to make sure that we maintain that to give ourselves the best chance to win.”

Ned thats the frustrating part of it! We should have got 7 points unquestionably and no one can say otherwise "IF players took their chances and not only salech? Defence is the problem but a win will give confidence and maybe stop us giving ridiculous goals away.
