VAR at Barry Town

I hadn't realised that it was in the Welsh league now. Barry dropped points last night as Ammanford were awarded a penalty due to intervention by VAR in last minute of injury time. What a fiasco it was. No one knew what was going on and it took best part of 5 minutes to sort out. Every game is now subject to VAR, apparently due to UEFA rules. I cant believe the League has the technology or the expertise to this in eight games every week. Even the Premier League cant do it properly.

Apart from that it was an excellent game and the passing by Barry was BBM standard. Unfortunately the effect was the same. Points dropped

They use a hybrid form of var! It would be similar to what they proposed for championship/efl... less cameras not sure if have same jurisdiction as premier league one as? Its not so much uefa rule more faw wanted to boost league to follow others around Europe but it is paid for by uefa.... the cost was one of things efl bulked st when was proposed premier league not to happy putting in financial help to get it going typical premier league when comes to money its me me me mentality thats why taking 5yrs to get them to agree the new efl package under threat of commissioner involvement.

It was farcical last night. I have no idea if the penalty call was correct but no one in the ground called it apart from the VAR guy. Almost like he wanted to use it !Additionally i was right in line with the player who scored Ammanfords first goal, the linesman was about ten yards behind and it seemed clearly offside. The referee seemed confused as well and unsure as to what was going on as the linesman didn't raide his flag, They may have made the right call but to me it seemed a bit random and if they dont have to use it it seems they are doing it just to seem modern.

Sounds about right?. Its not the system its the operating officials that are crap like man u game officials didn't even know rules on offside !saw the bluebirds on Friday and they didn't use it while I watched game
