CROWD FOR SATURDAY ?

Mon Sep 14, 2026 2:59 pm

Probably the hardest to predict this season, charlton I am sure will bring a lot a new ground for a lot of them, and early kick off means early home.
But as for city fans, lets just hope they have not give up already .
With this been the last game is it for a 3 week international break ? we will not see any club football for a while ,so it is the last chance to see for a while.

We should be well over 20,000 but our league position and no win yet and a total mess regarding transfers even freebies.it will surely be a struggle to hit 18,000 charlton may help the overall attendance but a 12.30 kick off will put a lot of city fans off sadly.
The family stand will look like a fire drill and the canton will not sell out and the season ticket ninian fans will stay at home.

Sorry to be so dower ,I am usually very upbeat about attendances but it's the way this club is going is not helping us fans in anyway .

But we are where we are and the manager players need our voices more than ever ,it would be worth a few more thousand to turn up just to join in with chanting Ken choo is a w.nker etc.

Can't argue with any of that sadly. I agree, we'll struggle to hit 20k. If we do, it'll be the Charlton contingent that helps us get there.

I'll be in my seat along with my dad.

Probably around 19k I think

Re: CROWD FOR SATURDAY ?

I’d say closer to 18k or a bit lower.

I think most are enjoying the actual football but are obviously frustrated with the lack of wins, goals etc.

but are you going to try to start a chant about Ken Choo?
Really or was it a ‘joke’?

19k but could easily be thousand more or less.
I think we could upset Charlton especially if Lawlor starts for us
But the overall performance needs improving. Not just the 2nd half but the first as well
AND subs that are not 10 to 5 minutes at the end.

If Lawlor plays we could get a win
if he dont play then we might struggle at the back and lose
BUT like i said if we perform for 2 halfs and not just the 1 like against Stoke

Should be 22,000 plus a good following from Charlton.

Kick off time , means nothing and it’s pay on the day and it’s a Saturday.

The kick off time is a nightmare for some!
I coach my youngest boys football team in the Pembrokeshire league, theres no chance of me getting up there for a 12.30 kick off

That’s the downside of early kick offs; particularly when you have to travel so far

Thankfully, you can watch it on TV after training :ayatollah:

If they win it's me putting them off.

Don't post as much as normal anymore but I will be there as usual and will be helping on the forum after.

As Monty says, no game until the middle of October after this game so I'd hope that people turn up. More hope though, less expectation.

Early kick off shouldn't be an excuse. I'll leave at about 8am and fine with that.
