Anyone have any idea what the heck he was trying to do?

Looked like he passed it gently into the wall!

Also no idea why he takes free kicks in positions like that - he's taken a few and never looked like scoring. Why on earth didn't Perry Ng take that free kick? Poor Jack Moylan was never going to get a sniff as the "new boy" which is a shame but as captain I thought Ng might have had a go.

He tried to pass it through wall for city player to run through and score? But it didn't go to plan as stoke player got in way!
But he should never have tried it the position was made for a shot a deflection was a high probability if not directly going in?
But qw complain enough about same old attempts something different if poorly executed.

It was nice to see a corner routine which wasn't just the usual "stick it under the crossbar" that we usually do.

Tanner's shot was miles over but it was a well worked corner.

Yes made a change but the corners were a lot more dangerous tonight! As for that shot like his headers should done lot better given no-one marking on him?

Yes but I do like the fact that they were willing to consider something a bit out of the ordinary.

Agree a mix up (no pun intended) of free kicks will make teams think when watching games back about us. Although I think if Big colwill was on field that would be the 1st choice option

His delivery is dogshit nearly every time on set pieces or corners why he gets to takes free kicks I'll never know, he can't beat the first man 90 percent of the time or find a blue shirt off them let alone freekicks to try score directly.
