Why I'm not concerned

Of course disappointed not to win tonight, but really there's not much more the players could have done. We must have hit the post about four times.

But the reason I'm not concerned like others are, is I see good signs in our home performances. The wins will come.

Early in the season you just want to see signs that things are working and they are for us at home. Just need to be more clinical, which we will be.

We have played very well in each of our last two games. Now we need to sort out the away performances, because the last two were poor.

Pleased to see Willock get a good assist, considering so many people say our wingers can't cross. Salech should have done better with a couple of other crosses.

Tanner is great up until the final ball. Should have passed when the keeper was out of his goal and we'd probably have gone on to win.

Bielik MOTM. Disappointed that some of our own fans have being overly critical of his actions this week. He was great tonight.

Overall, yes disappointed with no win but encouraged with the way we're playing at home. We'll be fine.

We can’t rely on just Salech

We 100% deserved to win that tonight outplayed them they could not get out of there half thoroughly impressed with our performance and we hit the woodwork 3 times.

Joe colwill who i was glad he started scored hit the post he should start every game.

I agree but my worry is whether we can stay fit. Its a very risky strategy. When we move the ball quickly and play like that tonight its brilliant. Joel Colwill outstanding tonight. He nees to play more.

Tonight and the Sheffield game are the reason I'm extremely concerned for all the positives we've done the same thing we've done in every game played well enough conceded when we really shouldn't have and failed to kill the game when we've had the chance. Good teams win when they play badly. We drop points when we play well that's a recipe for disaster

Miles the better side and did enough to win that game 3x over , what I would give for an earnshaw or Chopra type forward in this side
I feel once we get that first win the team will settle and we will be ok , I just wish we would stop giving sloppy goals away

Thought Bielik was really shaky first half, but excellent second half. Unfortunately, he seemed to pass the shakes on to Osho!

Willock was miles better after the break too. Everything was coming down his side second half, whereas first half it was all Tanner.

The Salech chance where he somehow kicked it against his own foot when hes through clear on goal, and then the one where Tanner tried to find Salech sliding in instead of just cutting it back to Moylan, were two massive moments. At this level, you simply have to score from situations like those.

Then there’s Colwill’s header off the post, he was so unlucky. You could honestly write a novel about the number of chances we created and somehow didn’t score.

The big question for me is whether Robinson scores any of them either? I’m not convinced. But if we’ve got a proper goalscorer to bring off the bench, I think we win that game.

We absolutely battered them. So dominant, created more than enough to win it 4/5 - 1, but just lacked that killer instinct in front of goal.

Really frustrating not to come away with three points but you have to have a lot of pride to see a Cardiff City team dominant like that.

Slight negative, we put so much into that game with very little changes from BBM. No doubt he will have to make changes for Bolton.

We need to realise away from home we need to pack the midfield- we are too open. Play Joe colwill every game - drop Salech - play Moylan upfront.

Frustrating at times in the first half, but we showed we can take a game to most teams in the Championship, and this performance should give confidence to all involved

I am slightly worried about the lack of squad depth, but I stand by BBM’s decision not to bring in players ‘for the sake of it’

As he showed tonight, we have our own youngsters with something to prove, who can do that particular job at considerably lower cost!

On the Stoke messageboard their fans are furious with the manager for some of the players he's brought in but were highly complimentary about our team, saying we are the best they've played this season.

Fair enough but I will remain concerned until we start to win a few matches.

By the time the international break comes we'll have played 8 matches - more than one sixth of the season.

We cannot be winless after 8 games and realistically expect anything other than a relegation battle with the squad that we have.

October is a b*stard of a month fixture wise too.

We have been unlucky with injuries and general play; it's still a slight concern that despite dominating, we still can't get the win. If we do soon, we will be fine.

We were brilliant and should've won comfortably. Colwill, Tanner and Bielik excellent. Robertson looked a lot better with Joel next to him. Salech was involved a lot more than the previous 2 games and played well apart from the miss he put wide.

What concerns me though is there is nothing on the bench that can come on and get us the win.

We cant rely on the same 12-14 players every game. Even when everyone is fit we lack options to come on and change the game.

I agree Eastleigh - Joel should be in the team much more than he has been. For me , his should be amongst the first couple of names on the team sheet. His brother can offer moments of magic but he can far too often be a real passenger. Joel's game is much more complete. He can be a real grafter, he is tough and very rarely gets muscled off the ball and he has now developed the ability to score goals. He gives us something in midfield that none of our other midfielders do - he covers every blade of grass and chases all over the field and if ever he loses the ball he works like a tiger to get it back - the rest of our midfield could learn something just on that point - every team needs a player like Joel!!

We should all be concerned because we keep conceding soft goals to lose points.

We conceded directly from a long throw at Portsmouth, that's inexcusable.

We conceded another soft goal against Stoke from a direct long ball and comical defending.

I'm wondering if we will ever manage to keep a clean sheet this season.

Until we learn to defend properly and keep clean sheets, we will continue to drop points, we will stay in the relegation zone and I will continue to worry.

It doesn't matter how well we play. We need to learn to defend properly, otherwise we will keep conceding soft goals and we will get relegated.
