Rabbi Matondo is nearing his next move with interest emerging from Burnley, Blackburn Rovers and Belgian clubs, The72 has been told.

Rabbi Matondo is available as a free agent after leaving Norwegian club SK Brann earlier this summer. He has had no shortage of interest in England shores, with Sheffield United bringing him in on trial.

Burnley are in talks to sign free agent
Rabbi Matondo. The Wales international is a free agent after leaving SK Brann before the close of the the transfer window.

Issac davies is out again for a period chambers and lawlor look like they are going to be as long as fish to be back up and running .

But why would we want to bring in new recruits.

I'd definitely consider signing him. Has pace and is unpredictable. I think BBM and his team could improve him but given his injury record I think a minimum wage with appearance bonus would be the best way forward but think the other interested team could pay higher wages

He is a free agent now having left his club do we need to sign a 3 year contract if he is clubless

He's played 47 mins of football in 2026; spent the other 1000s of minutes on the bench.

25 year old 'prospect' who's never managed to hold down a club and looked shite for Wales.

We have to find better in the academy then and we have moved loads out

I would sign him on a short contact with review in January but unless he is desperate to come back he will want a long term one.
