Those saying BBM days are numbered

Can’t believe our fans .. but actually I can.
We are all frustrated but saying managers days are numbered is shameful. He is learning .. the team are learning .. I am confident he will sort .. got to stand by him.

It is early days

100% agree and this board is rife with so called fans that seem to revel in it when things go wrong. No patience, no objectivity, no appreciation for what this team has done and previously achieved. They are all now just league one standard and crap and the manager is a cement head. All this after just two defeats. By all means express disappointment and question how things can improve but some of the criticism and negativity is pathetic.

Some of the same people have ‘blamed’ Tan, Dalman, Choo, BBM, the transfer window, the players themselves, Ned, the postman, the bloke who cuts the grass, the (un)lucky black cat, and the Fung Shui of the new stadium!

It’s likely a combination of a number of (mainly) financial issues, a disappointing (for all) transfer window, and the overly elevated expectations of an impatient element of our support

I’m behind BBM, and I will give him time to get things right before I join the ranks of the ‘we won, so he’s great; he lost, so he’s got to go!’ brigade that raises their heads above the parapet at the earliest opportunities!

It’s okay to be disappointed, but keep it real! :ayatollah:

We were fine last week against sheffield utd and should of battered them so I dont understand some fans over reactions , yes this week hasn't been great but thats all it is a bad week

Re: Those saying BBM days are numbered

I said on another thread that if bbm got the sack I wouldn't trust the clowns to get a decent replacement and with the squad as thin as it is, I don't see anyone being able to do better than bbm

It's the small squad that is making things hard for us right now, not bbm

I don't see how bbm getting the sack will magically have us shoot up the table

Re: Those saying BBM days are numbered

Sun Sep 06, 2026 2:42 pm

All depends on who is at fault for the transfer window.

If it comes out definitively that he wasn’t backed then he can have the season as far as I care even if we go down.

If it comes out definitively that his targets were unrealistic and he refused to compromise and as such has ended up with a squad that clearly isn’t big enough, then he can go.

None of this is on BBM in my eyes.

Tan, Choo, Dalman all need to go.

Well said

What these people don't understand is BBM is new to management and he's learning on the job.

And if he was sacked whoever replaces him will still have to deal with the 3 clowns that are ruining, sorry running, our club. And that is THE problem.

TAN OUT :protest:

Re: Those saying BBM days are numbered

Maybe BBM is the problem but we're not getting anyone better anytime soon & he needs to be allowed to see his vision through to the end.

It's been a very rough week for anyone who supports CCFC but it's not the end of the world, let's get behind the manager & team.

BBM might be out of his depth, made the wrong decisions in the transfer window and be stubborn but he did hell of a job last year and up to last Wednesday everyone was happy. Way to early to call for his head and anyone doing so is a clown

Well said Monty. I’ve not seen one person call for Murphy’s head yet.

Cardiff city football club days are numbered if these owners continue . There no ifs or buts, it’s shameful how they are treating the fans with no answers as to why the fuk we have had 2 f*cking players in .
Get a Fukin grip , Fukin scandalous . Sick of this shit .
We were expecting another 3or 4 to come in . How can you not have anymore .
We are a laughing stock

There's a thread on here already. The board can go whenever they want.

Quite a few have questioned him this week, to be fair

It’s the levels and the speed of change of mindsets that grips most

I think it’s more than fair to question him if it’s true that it’s his refusal to compromise on targets that has left us with a squad so thin.

Re: Those saying BBM days are numbered

Sun Sep 06, 2026 7:43 pm

I don't see many wanting BBM out this to me is about the SCUMBAGS running/ruining our club, nothing new, they've been doing it for years. But it is UNFORGIVABLE that we have been left with a squad that is threadbare and lacking championship quality players when the fraudsters running the club have had 4 months to sort this out.

Re: Those saying BBM days are numbered

Sun Sep 06, 2026 8:08 pm

Murphy done a great job getting us back up with what he had, his expirence with youth player paid off massively if we did go down again and Murphy not around we could keep sliding down the divisions easily then that would be an embarrassment. All the positive vibe through the club and fans has been brilliant we new it wouldn't be easy this time around .for all the money Murphy has saved them and the youth hes brought through which are now worth some valuable assets for the club the very least the owner could have done is made it easier for everybody If they done a bit back and backed Murphy instead of putting all of us in a situation we shouldn't be in right now

A few people on a forum out of thousands of city fans ? The speed of change is as quick as the speed of change saying we where getting players in to suddenly none.

Bring back Harris, Morison Slade Trollope[ Young & Gabbs
MeCarthy Riza The French man Erol
Ole etc

Re: Those saying BBM days are numbered

Sun Sep 06, 2026 10:00 pm

If Riza or for that matter anyone had selected 3 fecking keepers you’d all quite rightly go ballistic.
Not necessarily calling for his head, but wanting answers as to wtf is going on?
Too easy for many on this board to dig your head in the sand and ignore what’s going on and instead levy all blame at Tan. The man who ultimately stopped us going into liquidation and loses over a million every single month just to be hated.
Interesting it’s those same few who backed Riza, Bulut and McKay etc singing out his name from the Canton.
As Glen Williams has correctly said, BBM has had 4 months to sort his team out, yet we find ourselves with issues all over the park. Ignoring whether they are good enough for the Championship, my concern is we’re too slow going forwards, our centre midfield lack creativity, we give the ball away too easily, we get caught too high leaving us vulnerable to counter attack, we lack literally any set piece skill or tactic. Our corners and throwins are as bad as I’ve ever seen them. What the hell do they doing training? We have zero threat, but we do pass the ball about nicely though.
And before anyone says like a broken record “meltdown” ask yourself if all my above concerns are not genuine? Has anyone spoken to either Leicester or Rochdale supporters? I’ve read he’s playing the Pep way but without Man City players. That to me sums it up perfectly.

We / BBM / Team - Have lost the last 2 Games in a row - Both Away so I can understand the outpour from some ...
The problem is that we had at least 4 months to plan and we are left with No Choices but We go with what we have got .
Short of CB and up Top - Too many midfielders ( who we could put a full team out with )
Would love to know what the chat was when Owner met Manager back around May time -
" I'll have what shes having " ;)

Check my posts.

Saw other comparisons elsewhere - If Man City was Pepsi Guardiola, the lower league teams trying the same, but with duff players are Panda Pop Guardiola

The players that he signed are all good quality.

Nobody's is complaining about who he signed it was the distinct lack of signings.
