Rubin & Dylan For Sale?

I know Dylan is injured but did we do well to keep them or were they not wanted.

A bit of a two edged sword this one, if we had been open to offers, we may have had more money to attract BBM's target.

But would that have placated us as fans or would we rather keep our talent.

Neither was directly for sale, although there is always a caveat on that, e.g. if a serious bid that met the club’s valuation had come in. Dylan directly said he was happy here and didn’t want to leave, whilst Rubin knows he is a key player in BBM’s team, and both can still improve under him

That's the thing Sven if they went elsewhere and we all know if the price is right they would be forced out irrelevant that's football and the same when a player wants to move so it's vice versa.

To me they will play regularly here and improve under the best manager to improve the younger lads we have had to date lets be honest but the maddest part is if we didn't get BBM in and cost again galore before last season started you would of hardly seen such players maybe if we had somebody else come in so it's a master stoke really for us last season and the younger lads and to what the clubs direction was last season and it worked

I would not sell them for any price
Teams probably did not go for Lawlor because he is injured
And teams might wait to see how Rubin's season goes before looking to sign him

But I am glad we kept all our youngsters in the team otherwise the identity of the team would be lost.

That was a positive, niether were put up for sale, and both are still here.

I don't see these two being put up for sale. The only times that seems to happen is

1. The player is a pain in the ass
2. They are running a contract down to leave
3. The club is in a complete mess financially

I don't think any of these apply but if someone comes in with an offer of their own back who knows
