Can't have any complaints there, QPR are a good side and clearly deserved the win. We never looked like getting a late equaliser and didn't deserve one.

Passing was poor all night. Everything we did right on Saturday, we did wrong tonight. So many passes misplaced, too short or too long.

Salech absolutely dreadful, one of his worst games for us. I would have brought Robinson or Davies on for him early in the second half.

Two poor goals to give away.

Doesn't change that I think we'll stay up because QPR are well fancied to do well this season.

But it is a first league defeat and we need to bounce back at Portsmouth on Saturday.

QPR finished 15th last season, even though they have had a decent start, their fixtures have been favourable.
They are a decent championship team, but no more. In reality they could have scored 6 today. We are lacking quality and depth at this level, unfortunately we are in a relegation battle already. You can't play so open in the championship without being picked off. We must win on Saturday or we will be in the bottom three already.

Why do we persist at corners with 6 or 7 men in the six yard box..we never win a header and it's easy for a keepers punch.

He can and needs to be dropped. He is not winning or holding onto the ball, its a waste at the moment. He has lost his mojo.
Davies gives you the simple, almost too agricultural for BBM ball in behind and turn the defence. Nearly all the game is played in front of the opposition centre-halves.

Dont think we need to hit the panic button first goal for them was so lucky .

Its not panic stations but we have to stop the mistakes giving the ball away and selach needs support and better quality into the box .The loss of wintle is showing big time and Robertson isnt the answer in that position wintle was better so you have to question why was he got rid of its unbelievable really he was a solid player there in that roll good protection for the back line .
Id like to see us go through the middle a bit more instead of side to side and relying on wingers and crosses which are poor .
So things to work on but things feel a bit deflated with the lack of signings which we were all lead to believe were coming its a slap in the face but we cant feel sorry we got to improve quick or be be in a battle early doors .
I think we can do it be competitive in the league this season but we have to learn and theres also a desperation about our play when we go behind and we are so open .
So iff bbm tweaks things we should be a bit morw solid and have a bigger threat going forward and especially the crosses in the box .

I don't even think QPR was that much better it's just we was worse on the night Ned in the final 3rd . We are more interested in tapping it about sideways and backwards than getting the ball in the box or shots on target. That was the difference tonight we was poor they was a touch better in the final 3rd.

On that performance it's going to be a tough season squad not big enough our defence seemed way to slow we need to improve a lot for Saturday!!!

Reminded me a bit of plymouth away last season , without a specialist number 6 we are way way to open on the transition and in this league we will get punished a lot

Bbm needs to be more street wise away from and play a double pivot in front of the back 4 to make us more secure

The problem with the style we are playing is it leaves p massively vulnerable at the back with no extra cover.
We lose the ball and have 6 or 7 men ahead of it.
Which highlights the defenders who have no extra cover
It's bbms style, brave football. Id take that any day over bulit ball.
I don't think the pitch was great, the ball seemed to slow up quickly on us at times, hence the short, misplaced passes.
