Transfer Window 2026

Wed Sep 02, 2026 11:40 am

For me, not landing a striker has made it a disappointing window. I like who we’ve brought in but the lack of firepower up front will be an issue.

However, let’s park the frustration, keep the support/momentum going, and not turn the atmosphere toxic. We all support City and want it to be somewhere we enjoy coming to, enjoy watching and wanting to do well.

Yes there are problems with the club, we all have our own view on what these are, but this is the best group of youngsters and manager in as long as I can remember. Let’s not lose sight of that.

There’s always another window in January.

Support the boys, make some noise!!!

Can always look on bright side? Like Everton transfer night! Amongst other things player at club did medical slight problems clubs revised deal (his part was ok and agreed) both clubs sighned deal bit player walked out without sighning his part of contact... who thinks transfer day is easy?

Agree about the striker part - but we could have got players in on Loan up to Jan as I gave the example of Kellyman 3 months ago - which as we know never happened .

There's hundreds of players out there which would improve our squad, we're not Real Madrid are we? BBM clearly wasn't backed. Wrexham for example, small club, no history, show players the money they join, simple as.
