This window proves to me that we have an excellent coach but really need a really experienced Director of Football who knows the game and has the contacts ..It’s not our managers strong point as his real talent is coaching .A good experienced director of football would solve a lot of problems

Agree in principle but I don't want a DOF because it'll probably end up being Choo

DoF would be a big mistake and cause more problems than it's worth.

BBM wants the control, he is the boss of the football club, everyone works for him except the board.

We didn't lose any of the talent......Nobody
He must think the youngsters on the bench are ready, How many "if they are good enough they are old enough" posts do i need to read on here
IMO Moylan is an improvement (at this moment in time than Kellymen) and we needed to physically beef up central defence.
There is a business management tool called burning the bridges, meaning you can never return to what you did as you have destroyed the old system, so Wintle went and Robertson needs to step up. I have always thought this is the plan
We missed out on 1 or maybe 2 targets, he doesn't panic buy

Your all praising the manager Yes he did do a good job coaching and getting the best out of the players we had .We were 10 or 12 points clear of Lincoln .Had injuries and gir stick bum time towards the nd of the season because he wanted to keep a small squad and no proper replacements for certain players .We are now in a higher league and have to use a15 or 16 year old or have 2 goalkeepers on the bench .The season has only just started with injuries .That is without suspensions .Sorry but he made a big mistake not strengthening the team .We are not going to get Kane or similar .What does he expect for what Cardiff City want to pay?

Definitely no dof.... its become outdated for big clubs it's more based on coach and ceo coming together to decide things coach the players ceo the financial side.... to me this is what city have done problem we got is the distrust of the board (with some justification) coach should always have the say on players in and out this what makes me say bbm is probably the reason of so little done in window?
