Fair play to you . You called this week's ago.I honestly thought BBM had his specific
Targets lined up for quality loans at the end of the window . Clearly bollox from him and the board.
If they wonder where all the fans have gone from the Wrexham game here is the answer
We are treated like mushrooms.

They slated him because he was getting worked up with six weeks of the window to go which was far far too early. People want to get worked up now then that's fair because it's done.

All I'll say is my opinion of him is unchanged.

Hey
Ned
I try to be nice to you and could comment a lot more on your posts but don' t want to be controversial and have offered to meet a few times buy you a drink and chat and get on better ,you have not replied when I have mentioned it and you have not respricated, so fair enough you keep your views of me to yourself.

Been saying the exact same for three months but it is what it is. Most knew what was coming but whatever happens people surely can't blame BBM as he's wanted a list of players for months like any manager would despite what's said to the media it's his job :bluescarf:

But he called it right, regardless of how long ago it was.

Reading your replies to Chris (monty) over the last few months, it seems you have an issue with most if not all his posts. It looks like you have something personal against him which doesn't look good from one moderator to another.

Mike, genuine question; what has being ‘Moderators’ got to do with a difference in personal views? I simply fail to see the correlation? :?

A difference in views is absolutely fine, it's one of the things that makes this forum so interesting. However, it looks to me that Neds difference of view to Monty is personal as I mentioned in my post.

To put it clearer, it looks like Ned will deliberately disagree and try to put Monty down at every opportunity which I don't think looks good when they are both moderators.

And from Monty's reply it looks like he feels the same.

Re: FAO monty

Oh we do like 'handbags' on here don't we.

To me it looks like Monty AND Worcester were right, so why all the finger pointing.

Monty has now been proven correct in what he said a while back, but Worcester was correct to call out the window wasn't closed yet.

I'm sure we are all now 'annoyed' that Monty was correct but before yesterday 'hoped' he was wrong.

That’s a reasoned response, so thank you for that!

I always believe (and often state) that the personal and moderating views of any member of the team are/should be separated, except where there is such an obvious correlation that it is impossible to achieve. For me, this is not such an occurrence (of the latter) and I don’t really recall a situation where that has occurred in my (long) time on here

There’s a lot I could say on the whole topic, but I stayed out of it all commentary-wise yesterday, as some of the threads/posts I read from a lot of people were amongst the poorest, and deliberately ‘off-topic’ (Transfer Window Final Day) that I’ve ever seen. People (no way aimed at you) we queuing up to find fault with every little thing they could think of, and the number of individual threads created (most before the window had even closed) where others already existed, was surreal

Like most, I was massively disappointed with the complete absence of incomings yesterday, and I was both shocked and surprised, as all the indicators were that some movement was fully expected, despite several posters weeks long insistence that we wouldn’t. Even with the continuing financial issues within the club, it just doesn’t make sense (as some suggest) that we weren’t genuinely trying to get the right (not any) players in

So, the question should now be asked ‘why did we fail to recruit?:?

Was it Tan? Was it Ken Choo? Was it BBM’s fussiness? Was it that players simply didn’t want to come here? Was it a mix of all the above? Was it something else?

I don’t have, or pretend to have, the answers, and in the absence (at point of writing) of a comment/explanation from someone/anyone with genuine knowledge on the failure to bring in additional players late on, anything transfer related on this Forum is a mix of guesswork, coincidence, assumption, and in some cases downright malice towards the club itself and/or individuals associated with it

I’m not sure the true facts of this window will ever be made public, and that’s a crying shame because it gives certain others a window (excuse the pun) of opportunity!

Re: FAO monty

I probably do go after him on here more than anyone else and I make no apologies about that.

You know why? Because him and others who think the same as him are basically only on here to slam the club at any given opportunity.

If anyone dares to have an ounce of positivity then they gang up on them to try and hound them away. Doesn't work on me.

I get a lot worse stick than he does. Someone started a thread this summer specifically targeting me, with my username in the thread title, and basically calling me mad. Someone else yesterday accused me of being a Jack (lol) and of taking "happy pills".

But never mind all that, I dare to go against the party line and criticise Monty and it's crime of the century.

Yes I remember that thread about you and tbh I didn't think it was that bad but maybe I would have thought different if it was about me. TBF to that thread, you did have an eventful summer on here prior to it, calling posters some very abusive and offensive names using language that would get a non moderator a bollocking or banned but as you pointed out at the time, you could do it because you are a moderator, which I'm sure pissed a lot of people off.

You have pointed out the abuse you have had recently as your defence for having a go at Monty but you are dishing it out too so does that make you any different to the posters you are moaning about.

Chill out a bit Ned, life's too short. Everyone has an opinion on everything, it's their prerogative and what makes this forum great.

Re: FAO monty

What a nonsense post this is. BBM was talking about bringing multiple players in 2 days ago, I don't remember Monty calling him a liar. People had inflated expectations god knows why, because someone said BBM will be backed, which is a nothing statement that can mean anything. The window was great up until a few days ago. 3 permanent signings and a loan that provided cover and gave us upgrades. We needed two in yesterday it didn't happen it wasn't good enough but it doesn't make all the toys thrown out of the pram over the summer reasonable, if we'd got two or three loans in the moaning would have continued

Ned I was going to comment tonight but the game is on and I want to watch and enjoy,

i am presently on a lunch break so,
I have no axe to grind with cardiff city football club with the owners yes but no other part of the club so your loose term the club covers many parts the team the manager fellow supporters club shop supporters shop groundsman stewards all members of staff etc i have no problem with,
just the 3 running the show and maybe Wayne Nash for his silly segregation.

I have no agenda as you put it and like you who have a group of friends on here, i have many friends which is testament to prove I cannot be that much of a tw*t or a c.nt or privileged or entitled.

I am an ordinary bloke who loves cardiff city,
Annis asked if I would like to be a moderator which I thought about for a few days and accepted ,I was not a plant to rub you up the wrong way or tread on your toes,

I do not seek attention and have no axe to grind with you personally.

I have asked for a met as you know but I have had no reply so I have accepted that is not something you wish not to do ,which is fine by me but I have offered.
So there is no hidden agenda I don' t like the owners full stop, so when you say bashing the club that is not quite right i love my Club and cardiff fc and all the fans they are all a big part of my life and my wife's.

I’ll be honest, I found the OP a little embarrassing and it could so easily have been put on any number of pre-existing threads on a similar footing!

It’s not about Monty being right or wrong, it’s more about two (proverbially) warring factions; one of which sees the glass half full, the other of which sees it half empty

I tend to be the former under BBM, but that’s not to say I don’t understand (or agree) that things haven’t gone as we think they should have this window

BBM was good enough last season, lauded by many (not all) who are seemingly turning on him now, even with his preferred small squad, so let’s get behind him and the team, and see what happens up until January, eh?

It’s not like we have much choice now, anyway! :ayatollah:

You've just mentioned the board and Wayne Nash several times in this reply, so yes that does show you have an axe to grind.

You mention being a moderator. What moderating actions have you actually completed? Tell you what, I'll stop being a moderator and you can do match threads etc - deal?

I do believe that there are a group of people who are never happier when there's something to complain about. So last night and today is like Christmas to them, spreading their message about the reasons why - and if someone believes different then they're shut down and called a puppet.

Propaganda drive, how is people hoping and wishing for their club to show a little ambition and make last year's reset count for something a propaganda drive? Or are you talking about the general distain towards the board? Does anyone think they are doing a sterling job then? You are the biggest brainwasher on here, all encompassing and all domineering. You take over almost every single thread on this board with your unwavering views that put BBM on this god like status where he can do no wrong and look out anyone that thinks otherwise..and still your continuing today after that complete sh!t show of a transfer window. I'll stop biting now with you, something isn't quite right I think.

But nice one Mike for speaking your mind, completely agree with you...although last time I told Worcester to chill out (it was take a day off actually) he threatened to ban me. People with power hey!

Monty too, nice one for not buckling under this dudes pressure coz there is a lot of it every single day I know. You called it right and he was very wrong. Not that point scoring is important to you but defo 1-0 in my book haha.

Monty too, nice one for not buckling under this dudes pressure coz there is a lot of it every single day I know. You called it right and he was very wrong. Not that point scoring is important to you but defo 1-0 in my book haha.

You're never far away when Monty is involved

I don't need anyone to praise me, I am unbothered about it.

You seem very proud of being a moderator so I'll hand it over to you, and you can do match threads from now on :thumbright:

You now i am not going to do the match threads but trying to blame me ,is your get out for leaving the forum you have said several times your not bothering next year before these posts started ,
anyway I have a proper job to do 51 years still doing it how long will you last eh.

I’m new to the forum, and mostly only connected in to hear updates about Transfers so I might soon remove my account. But since joining, I’m surprised at how quickly people lose sight of welcoming diverse opinions, and opt for point scoring or vitirol towards each other. It feels abundantly clear to me that there’s almost no ITK people, yet there seems to be such a lack of humility amongst posters. I don’t understand it. Those who believed the transfer window would end positively, were placing faith and trust in BBM’s comments. Those who were nervous over the past few weeks were remembering previous disappointments. Both positions seemed valid, the throughout the tensions between posters were increasing. I largely avoided and ignored reading those comments, on the basis that it’s seemingly never worth the time, or getting worked up over. And so I comment here knowing it’s not my place to interrupt the two of you, so feel free to ignore my input. But just as a reminder, there feels like such little to be gained from an online feud between City fans.

Well said. Everyone chill out and relax, this is the best Cardiff City forum, don't spoil it with personal agendas.
