Only thing I've seen is a Twitter/X account saying:

'Ken Choo has single handedly messed this summer up.

He has been to busy chasing his own targets which has led to other targets falling through'

Don't know how true.

Even CCFC insider has criticised Choo on his site. Basically unforgivable that Choo is telling BBM who to sign.

Ccfc insider has since amended his criticism one imagines at the order of Choo himself.

Rumours being the key word here. It could just be that players had offers from better clubs and more chance of playing time.

Tbh I get the feeling it’s more BBM being picky.

Historically we seem to get signings that clearly aren’t the manager’s pick and now BBM has come in it has stopped.
