Tanatswa Nyakuhwa is close to securing a loan move back to Newport.

Shrewsbury had shown interest earlier in the summer but Newport have won the race to bring him back under new boss Hayden Mullins.

Just final bits of paperwork to be done.

Tanatswa spent half of last season on loan to Newport County.

Has made 4 appearances for the Bluebirds and was a Cardiff Accademy.

Hopefully. Although he wasn't up to league one standard, so probably wouldn't have been given much (or any) game time in the Championship. More likely to use Scanlon or Kpakio as backup wingers.
