His name came up when Boro signed him and someone said they hadn’t heard of him. I’m sure they have now.
Put him up front instead of Salech and we are 7 or 9 points out of 9. Even Monty would find it hard not to be totally positive about him if he played for Cardiff. He’s the nicest lad and amazing.
Bargain whatever Boro paid for him they will make it back 5 times over.

All true but there's no chance he would have chose us over Boro, who are likely to be one of the main promotion contenders.
I'm sure Guimaraes could have done a job for us in midfield too, but unfortunately Arsenal beat us to it.

We would not be paying £10m rising to £20m for a player and at that price I highly doubt they will be getting back five fold for him

I was surprised Spurs let him go, but that was Boro’s gain; big time!

It’s a shame because we should be competing with Boro for players.

He will go for £50 million minimum. If he goes to the premier league with Boro he could go for £100 million.
