As we know on another day ball bounces up and salech scores ng shot goes in off bar... ball hits keepers knee and bounces out to city player or defender doesn't get in front ball for that brilliant move (it was going in).....but thats football sheff had the luck but sure they should scored as well but missed... performance softened the missed chances though

I’ve been saying this a while now. We don’t always need to stick a target man up front on his own. I agree a chopra or Earnie style striker would benefit from the way we can play.

I don't think Trott had to make another save, but the frustration is we had already gifted them 2 goals.

I previously said Robertson isn't a natural as a holding midfielder and there were occasions he lost his discipline in that role last season.

We can play well for 99% of the game, but if we switch off for that 1% and keep conceding soft goals, we will continue to drop points.

Osho lost concentration/was lazy not getting out for Moore's goal, playing him onside.

We had no centre backs at Derby with NG getting outmuscled for their first and then 2 of our players turned their backs on the shot for their equaliser.

Then there's Robertson's mistakes yesterday, although NG was also sloppy giving the ball away in the build up to their penalty.

They're all soft goals we shouldn't have conceded, but if our manager was given just a little bit of backing to strengthen these areas, we wouldn't keep conceding soft goals to cost us.

What was the logic for allowing Wintle to leave if we haven't brought a replacement in by the start of the season?

We're on the same page about Robertson. I don't think he's a six. I would prefer Bielik to play there or someone to come in over the next couple of days to play there.

However, someone on here said a couple of months back that they believe BBM's project for the season will be making Robertson a six. If anyone can do it, he can. Not many really believed BBM last summer when he said he'd have young players playing a possession based game and still win.

He didn't want Wintle to stay so therefore it was the right decision to let him go.

We did deserve the extra two points on Saturday because it was an excellent performance. I've said before that in the first few games, I'm not that bothered about results. At this point you just want to see signs of good performances and I think we've done. Teams can win games early on but it's a bit deceiving and they inevitably fall away because the performances aren't there - Charlton aren't going to win the Championship and Hull won't be in the Champions League next season.

So the fact we've played well in our opening three gives me a good feeling. Yes we deserved more points but the wins will definitely come. There will be ups and downs all season but we won't be anywhere near relegation.

As for Tan backing the manager, always said I'll judge it at the end of the window. That said I never expected us to spend loads - I understood backing not in monetary terms but in terms of improving the squad. I think that's happened.
