Good performance today, most fans are happy with that. Disappointing not to win because we deserved it, but the performance gives plenty to be optimistic about.

Sheffield United hadn't scored all season, but they score 2 in the first 7 minutes against us because we gifted them both goals.
It's obvious what areas of the team we need to strengthen, but our manager hasn't been backed and now we're in the usual position of desperation, hoping we bring in a few more players at the last minute.
It's a shambles and we will be very lucky to keep our manager if Tan continues letting him down.

They had two big chances early on and took them, both from Robertson uncharacteristic mistakes.
But I don't remember any major chances after that. Did Trott even make a save?

I don't think Trott had to make another save, but the frustration is we had already gifted them 2 goals.
I previously said Robertson isn't a natural as a holding midfielder and there were occasions he lost his discipline in that role last season.
We can play well for 99% of the game, but if we switch off for that 1% and keep conceding soft goals, we will continue to drop points.
Osho lost concentration/was lazy not getting out for Moore's goal, playing him onside.
We had no centre backs at Derby with NG getting outmuscled for their first and then 2 of our players turned their backs on the shot for their equaliser.
Then there's Robertson's mistakes yesterday, although NG was also sloppy giving the ball away in the build up to their penalty.
They're all soft goals we shouldn't have conceded, but if our manager was given just a little bit of backing to strengthen these areas, we wouldn't keep conceding soft goals to cost us.
What was the logic for allowing Wintle to leave if we haven't brought a replacement in by the start of the season?
It's frustrating, because we are playing well, much better than I expected so far. We deserve more than 3 points from our first 3 games, but we keep ruining all our good work by conceding soft goals.
I just want Tan to give our manager a chance, because he deserves a bit of backing. I think it's vital we bring a few more players in, I think it will make such a positive difference to our season.
