How many signings do you expect in?

How many signings can we expect before next Tuesday? I'm hoping for another 3, as our squad needs more bodies!!!

You'll know by 11pm on Tuesday.

Wintle replacement.
A fast, direct winger.
Striker to compete with Salech.

That should be the mimimum we expect and anything less isn't good enough.

Ideally, I would also like another centre back, a box to box midfielder and another right back so we can loan Kpakio out.

So I want 6, but I know we will be very lucky to get 3 with our clown of an owner.

I think this new bloke will play at 6 once all our center backs are back so I'll say a right back, winger and striker minimum . So 3 more I'm guessing but we will probably get 1 knowing above BBM

A good question distinguishing between expecting and hoping for. Setting my expectations low, with 1. Hoping for 3.

Really interested by Bielik’s interview, because he mentioned twice that he heard of the interest three days before the deal began to move. Whereas for BBM, he mentioned monitoring over a period.

I’m not saying this is a flat rule and I’m sure things can move quickly closer to the deadline, but it peaked my interest because it sounds like for moves to get over the line by Tuesday, the negotiations with players would need to be happening now. Oh to be a fly on the wall in the target meetings!

Theres nothing we can do about it though, roll on the end of the window when we can then actually all focus on the football

Two or three, I'm expecting a stellar loan or two; we look like a good loan-receiving club, with a good chance of game time and one of the best Managers in the league to develop young players.

Just my thoughts I would say Im realistic rather than negative based on previous transfer windows

Trott? Outcry if he hadnt have signed
Moylan? Excellent aquisition
Scanlon & Bielik? Only signed due to injury crisis and mountain pressure to add numbers.

If we had no injury crisis I believe we would only have signed Trott and Moylan. I think BBM was offered money for one top signing and Moylan was his choice.

If you’re expecting 6, you need to be thinking of who you’re dropping out of the current first team squad.

I'm the same as you KBK-13, think we need 3. Although, based on Bielik saying he's been bought in by BBM to play as a defender, I'd swap your RB preference for a No.6 instead. I like Robertson there but we need another to compete with him. I'd say, well why not Chambers, but just don't see BBM ever playing him there so a really good, specialist 6 would be great.

As it's going right down to the wire though (and coz BBM seems to treat Tan's money, or lack of, very preciously), I'm expecting just 1 to 2 - which would make the window overall a bit 'meh'.
