Brian Barry-Murphy has insisted Cardiff City are not finished in the transfer market after Krystian Bielik's arrival, with the manager indicating further defensive reinforcements could still be pursued with the Pole brought in to bolster the midfield.



Dylan Lawlor and Will Fish face lengthy lay-offs, while Calum Chambers' mystery knee injury is harder to put a timescale on.

The good news is that Gabriel Osho is back in training after missing the last two matches following a hyper-extended knee.


That leaves the door open for Cardiff to strengthen further at centre-back before Tuesday's 11pm transfer deadline, with the Bluebirds having been stretched in that position during the opening weeks of the season.

I really hope there are more signings to come.

4 days left in the window and realistically our squad is no bigger than where it was at the end of last season. Trott signed up permenantly, Scanlon resigned on loan and Moylan & the Polish dude bought in the replace Kellyman and Wintle - are we sure these 2 players are upgrades. If they are then our 1st 11 has marginally improved but that's it.

I'm expecting some big signings now (not to be confused with big names). Whether on loan or permanently, I'm expecting some real quality to come in (the quality we've been told to hang fire and wait for) ..otherwise, I'm disappointed with the ambition shown by the club and the window has generally been a let down.

Call it negative or whatever, I call it being honest and realistic...hope I'm very wrong!

You certainly are being realistic as the hierarchy at our club have generally been a big let down for quite a few years now. I believe they got bailed out last season and struck it lucky with the recruitment of BBM.

100% the we need a striker threads went on pretty much up until we got promoted last year... Even then there where claims it cost us the title despite the fact we scored a ton of goals. Nobody is ever happy
