Wonder how long BBMs patience will hold out with the current

Tue Aug 25, 2026 12:43 pm

Wonder how long BBMs patience will hold out with the current incumbents that are in charge of the transfers at Cardiff City. I think that a level of honesty is required by the club as to why we are taking so long.Been here before to be told we have overspent,no money or embargo.

He's fine; he knows they are working on his targets, a bit frustrated and stressed probably, but knows they are backing him.

You are so right, especially after the failures of the last two transfer windows that means we're still in League One. Everyone on here was right, our squad and manager were nowhere near good enough to get promoted.

If only BBM had been backed last summer, we would have been a Championship club by now.

Oh hang on, we are despite the outcry by our fans a year ago.

Lots of presumptions here, hasn't BBM said it's him running the transfers and to blame him not the club. The whole the club hasn't backed him stuff only Tan and BBM know the truth of that, but I'd guess he wouldn't be defending the club if he was unhappy

Didn't he bring in his own man to lead the recruitment ? Bbm says he's leaving the club stuff to those that run club as for players thats his domain like most clubs manager says he wants so & so recruitment paves way and money men sighns off on it... thats process but as we know lots happen to get in way of deals.....bbm is backed until he says otherwise

Transfers are really bbms responsibility well targeting players is? But due to the closed shop on information no one knows if hes done that or hes waited until now to get loans in? Sure theres another 3 can have.... just find it odd we have had one player bought (not trott) in all this time...

Nobody really knows what's going on at the club with transfers despite what's said by BBM or the club or anyone on here. We can only go off what comes in and guess until then. Although BBM will go on to better things and better people above him I'm 100% sure of that in the future or the right offer comes in for him like any manager or player :bluescarf:

It's not good practice for a manager to slate his employers/bosses even if he's not happy with their efforts.
You all sing off the same hymn sheet even if everything is out of tune. Not saying there's any friction just that it's not wise to criticise the person who pays your wages.

There's a difference between criticizing your employer (which I agree is unwise) and defending them by saying the lack of transfers is on me. He could have easily said nothing and opened the door to more speculation
