If get tickets suspect you'll have to go to ground pick up a coach from ther ...its a bubble game... only fans living behond Bridgend at least can travel independently....

Thanks. Ok. I assume I’ll need to book a space on the bus independently of getting tickets tho? Getting tickets should be fine. We’ve been season ticket holders for years.

No tickets and bus must be booked together cannot get tickets on there own... unless like say you've near to Swansea or West Wales... details will come out nearer time

Being a season ticket holder doesn't give you priority for away tickets anymore under the new system , its now on a points based system going on the last 15 away matches

although you do get 2 points for being a season ticket holder plus 1 point per away game

Id guess 9 points will be the threshold to qualify for swansea this season

Personally wouldn't bother its not a good experience either outside ground or inside its a dump and just not worth the hassle

Looking at what you’ve written, it appears you’re not a regular away traveller?

The current ‘system’ favours regular away supporters (rightly so IMHO) and simply having a home season ticket holds limited or no value when the smaller grounds come up, and Swansea is highly likely to be in high demand and bus travel will need to be pre-booked at the same time, as tickets are often given out on the buses en route

Certainly give it a go (when they become available) but be prepared for disappointment, as the away regulars (I’m not one) will get first dibs, and the rest will be on a sliding points scale, according to (away) games attended

Thanks for your reply. No, lately, I’ve been happy just attending the home games, showing my age!! My Daughter though (17) is really keen to go to away matches, so I promised her this year we would!

I’m not sure Swansea is a good ‘first experience’ for an away game. It’s not an easy trip

Some very good venues coming up with (likely) more tickets available less restriction attached

Wolves on Hallowe’en (how appropriate :laughing6: ) would be a good trip around the same time. You can join the Supporters Club in advance and it’s a good crowd who travel from Llantwit Major; particularly if your daughter is with you :ayatollah:

Bristol is usually pretty easy too and you can normally get tickets for it far easier than swansea

Goid call; and it’s never as bad as some would have us think (except for the odd isolated idiot on both sides) :ayatollah:

I have the strangest feeling, don't ask me why as I cant explain it, that we are going to do the double over them horrible gyppos this season.

Its a dump my friend, worst experience for away fans, Id take her to Wolves or even Bristol City is better and you can travel freely, Charlton is a good trip and good ground

And the trains are delayed and police make bus wait etc until u marched at snails pace to ground with 10 mins to kick off. Then marched back to temple meads after game with a 5k PB record :laughing6:
