TEAM FOR TUESDAY?

Not sure if you guys agree, but I’d be happy to sacrifice the cup run and try to rotate for the EFL Cup game.

At this stage, feels too risky to to afford any more injuries and focus on the league.

I agree. Cup run was great last season but we have to have all our focus on the league this season, in my opinion.

Not saying it should just be the academy playing but give some of them a game as well as the likes of Tyrer, Turnbull, Robinson, Tankiewicz etc.

Norwich may take it seriously though. Lost their first two league games and may want a morale boosting win.

The bench boys so far and other players who are available it will probably be because of the risk of injuries I assume

It’s toughie with our injury list, but I believe BBM will put a team out to have a go. No centre backs will be a concern until that situation is resolved, though

We need to make sure that none of Scanlon, Bagan or Ng play on Tuesday and risk injury.

I think Kpakio could do with a game to boost his confidence.

God knows who can play at centre half though.

Turnbull? Eli King? Couple of youngsters?

Norwich will have a weekend side and I know BBM likes to try and Win every game

It's an impossible situation BBM has been put in. What a mess we're in from Tan not backing him.

Does BBM play the same defence and risk further injuries?

Does he play youngsters who may not be ready and risk destroying their confidence and development?

I agree BBM should rotate, but how can he rotate when he doesn't have any other senior defenders to pick?

I read Chambers is close to returning, so hopefully he can play centre back alongside the youngster, Anyadike. Perhaps Scanlon and Bagan can play a half each at left back and Kpakio can play the majority of the game at right back to help build his confidence.

Chambers (if fit)

The under 21s

The way that BBM spoke after the game, it doesn't sound like Scanlon will be involved on Tuesday.

He pointed out it was his first 90 minutes in two and a half years, so I expect he'll give him the night off so he's ready for Sheffield United.
