Rubin

Not sure I'm eating humble pie just yet, but must admit that I'm impressed with Rubin in the first two games of the season.

There wasn't the spectacular strike today like we saw on Monday (although nearly was when he hit the bar early on).

However, it was a good performance again and while playing more minutes. Made the right decision to play it to Salech for the second goal when he may have recklessly shot.

I have doubted him at this level before because he hasn't shown the consistency. Still to be seen if that will change this season, but has to be said he's made a good start - we may well have gone on to get a winner if he'd have been able to play 90 minutes, although I understand why he had to come off.

It's an interesting one Worcester, he has that X factor, I think he'll be our Koumas of 20 plus years ago, but hes OURS. His stardust will keep us up like Jason did.

He was brilliant today probably should have scored but still took a great save to stop him. Hopefully he can keep this up and stay healthy

Ive always maintained my stance that rubin has that bit of xfactor but he looks a much better player when hes played deeper , his ability to move between the lines with the ball makes him such a threat in transition , I thought the midfield looked much more balanced with rubin in the 8 today

Good on you Ned.

From day one I have always believed in Rubin and he is another class above the rest, but consistency has been his down fall.

His brother Joel will also go a long way.

Let's get a few signings in and get that window shut!!

If he stays fit there will be some big interest in him come January!!

I think we are lucky to have Rubin and Joel in this squad

Two quality players in my book who both love and support this club which is rare these days
