‘Newly promoted Cardiff’

Really annoys me when sides say we’re a newly promoted side, which is usually meant as an insult, and they should be beating us.

We’ve spent more years in the Championship than any of them and have just had 1 year below it.

Especially teams like Derby, Brizzle, Wrexham, Swansea etc… who are all shit.

Personally don't see it as a big issue, it's factual.

Teams that have been yo-yo clubs to the Premier League such as Burnley will always be called newly promoted too.

Does Mac need to toughen up a bit. Oh yes.

Exactly! And any team is only is good as its last season; in our case we were League One!

Hoping for better things this season, and the early signs are there!

This reminds me of someone getting offended because Ben Stokes was saying it’s a tragedy there is no Ashes test at headingley next year and someone said “well there is a woman’s Ashes test at Headingley actually”.
