Perhaps a subtle hint to Tan that we are in need of reinforcements.

I can’t imagine many teams have ever gone into the second game of the season with all four centre-backs injured! Our entire back four today are full-backs.

But those are the breaks. If we come away with a point today, it’ll feel like 3!

One thing this team has is character and homegrown players who genuinely care about the badge and the club!

Gutted about the centre back situation. Feel like we’re losing early momentum from winning so much last year by having such a small squad. The two keepers thing is normally a message from the manager to the owner to say how small the squad is and that he needs help

I sincerely hope these words come back to bite me, but I’m so underwhelmed by the starting 11. The injuries can’t be helped, but at present, I believe we look seriously underprepared for how tough this division is.

I’m looking at that Derby 11 and hoping for a BBM inspired miracle.
