Cardiff City make new first-team appointment after five departures announced:


Brian Barry-Murphy's first-team staff with the appointment of Oli Moulton as a first-team performance analyst.

Moulton has been promoted into the role after almost two years working within Cardiff's academy structure, having joined the club in September 2024.


The 2026/27 campaign will represent a significant step forward for Moulton, who spent the previous nine months as the Bluebirds' U21 performance analyst before moving into the first-team setup in July.


The appointment is another change to Cardiff's backroom structure during a summer of notable change.

There was never any talk that Isaak Davies would leave and BBM said many times last season that he saw him as a striker.

So nothing has changed there.
