Neil Warnock’s Favourite Player AND :

Thu Aug 20, 2026 3:05 pm

Neil Warnock on Rubin Colwill:

“My favourite player bloody came on and scored the equaliser last night!”

“I don't know why he wasn't playing, Rubin Colwill. I think he could even play in the Premier League, this lad.”

Warnock also added that he believes Cardiff can avoid relegation this season:

“I think they'll just about be all right, I do honestly. I don't think they'll fly away with it, but I do think they'll be all right and stay up.”

When it comes to him not starting then maybe the crooked old fool should educate himself. He wasn't fully fit.

Your vitriol for our Greatest Ever Manager is shameful. Take a look at yourself and remember what Sir Neil achieved at our club against all the odds. :bluebird:

So the Manager who cost us millions did not make us hundreds of millions by getting us to the Premier League??? I guess you are not an accountant! :bluebird:

Still my favourite manager for cardiff to date but murphy is making a good fist of it but we will see how he comes on with the championship and warnock has the best history of most managers ever and my utmost respect as an old man as you put it .

Alright fair point, but he did make us spend millions that we shouldn't have.

But don't take my word for it on how bad a person he is. Do the in depth research and it tells you all you need to know about the morality of the man.

Morality!!! Take an in depth look at most Managers and then tell me about morality. Sir Neil had flaws, I agree. But what he did for our beloved club was immense and off the scale. With the squad we had it should not have happened.

In my opinion he is the best Manager we have had in my lifetime, and I'm 61. :bluebird:

Top bloke Warnock and we would have stayed up, except for the Sala situation, it knocked the stuffing out of everyone at the club.

Let it go for fooks sake, he got us promoted from a position of weakness, BBM is decent but I doubt he will get us promoted.

He's been accused of a few things none proven. Morality what he supported brexit? All I've ever seen is someone with a great sense of humor who did an unbelievable job at this football club

Can't doubt his management abilities, record speaks for itself.

But his closeness with McKay is one of the reasons we've lost the Sala cases and there are questions for him to answer related to that. It's a shame no journalist/podcast asks him so it will shut people like me up.

I've no doubt he's mates with Mckay it's probably the reason the deal got done in the first place. The Sala case is nonsense full stop, it shouldn't be in court, as far as I'm concerned he should have been insured, whoever didn't do that is to blame on the financial side. The pilot is to blame for the accident. Mckay might have organized it but I highly doubt he had knowledge of the pilot and plane not being on the up and up. We lost the Sala case because it was grasping at straws. Tan feels hard done by as would I but he should try not employing clowns like Choo

So if I accuse you Ned of being a thief, embezzler, corrupt person or a paedophile........does that mean you are one. Or are you innocent until proven guilty?

I am not accusing you of any of the above but you must be able to see that your smears and innuendo hold no weight at all. :bluebird:

Like I said, I want him to be asked the question by a journalist and if he denies it then I'll shut about it.

I've said do the in depth research.

I'm not blinded by the success he brought us like most are.

Until he actually answers questions about it I'm entitled to say what I think, that he's a nasty person.

He's a top Manager, do you think Fergie and Mourinho are choir boys, watch the documentaries, you need an edge to be succesful in that job.

I met him a few times he's a great bloke.

I've never said he isn't a good manager?

Yeah those managers have an edge, but we're talking about different things.

All I'm saying is he should answer questions about his involvement and when he denies it then I'll shut up. What's wrong with that?

Instead of telling people to do their in depth research how about you actually say what your issue is? He was mates with Makay doesn't mean a thing

From The Guardian:

"Neil Warnock and football intermediary Willie McKay were central figures in the tragic record £15 million transfer of striker Emiliano Sala from FC Nantes to Cardiff City in January 2019. McKay arranged private flights for Warnock to scout Sala, but subsequent scrutiny and the fatal plane crash sparked fierce public disputes over their relationship."

I believe Warnock has blood on his hands and is more to blame than anyone else at the club at that time.

I want him to publicly deny all this and I can go back to lauding him for the success he brought us, while also admitting I was wrong.

But until that's done, I can't do any of that.

I just don't get it sorry. So you want a journalist to ask him about how well he knew Mckay? Even if he turns around and say we are best mates what exactly does that prove, it's just guilt by association. I'm guessing you've got or at least have heard more than that to have such a strong reaction to Warnock
