Ned when does being calm become being panicky? Because we most definitely cant get to Sept 1st with nothing less than 2 additions? Why are coaches so pragmatic when it comes to work ethics? They all seem to have unusual traits from times of subs to no goalkeeper on bench! Bbm as had supposedly players hes targeted yet not one as arrived? How far as he gone down that list given to him by the person specifically brought in for recruitment...... something as gone wrong in process and if not careful be playing for nothing come January maybe relegation certainly not playoffs.... not because of way we play but because we cant keep a settled side and keep putting in youngsters hoping they don't make costly mistakes ... I'm still hopeful he'll get players in at least 2 but its looking less likely as the days pass

Only then people can judge whether those players are the quality we need. We can agree/disagree on that fairly because we will all judge the players we have then.

Was being slightly phacicious about panic buying but the point is when does calm end up without a sighning? Yes I'm optimistic about sighnings but having to wait until last minute is not best practice no matter what happens by 1st September.... this is about getting in decent players to fill squad with not rely on academy players when injuries take place.. we all want us to be challenging for top half not praying we don't get injuries to vital players like salech? Yes got players to fill in but thats it they just fill in.... God forbid we don't get in more than 1 player because the fault lies plainly at bbms door... my concern is this will be an on going problem because managers rarely change way they operate and if recruitment is bbms achilles heel its the wrong thing to have at a football club thats for sure...

Are you happy with our centre backs? Do you think they will cope with the Championship? It's not about injuries so much for me and I'm sure a lot of other people. It's more the lack of height and physicality that's concerning. We will concede any awful lot of goals this season unless we strengthen that area (and ideally the 6 position too). If that means we gotta bring in a 5th CB, so be it. A strong, tall, aggressive CB we need, not your strongly put across point!

I said on another thread that BBM doesn't want his defenders to just be defenders. That's why Osho will probably always play when he's fit. He made a mistake for the goal on Monday but BBM loves that he makes progressive runs and a high passing accuracy.

So a big tough CB playing for us while BBM is in charge is unlikely in my opinion.

People may disagree with his viewpoint on that, but don't see it changing.

And that's the concern for me coz I don't see it changing either. Passing accuracy is great and I don't dislike Osho, but not conceding goals is important too - surely more important. A big tall rangey no.6 would help some what with corners and crosses.

Well strike me down for getting the date and the number of days wrong. We were still crying out for a goal scorer at the start of that season, but the board played the calm waiting game. It was all too late by then as the story goes.

As I have been saying- We have had months to sort this out with the so called meetings with Owner and Manager .
