I think the fact he has a home in the West Midlands and Wolves have the potential of going up and he may not fancy being in a struggling team that he would have always picked Wolves over us if we were in the picture He may well have loved it playing here but don’t think it was ever going to happen He has so much more connect to the west midlands than to south wales

I dont think we would have a chance of signing him. What I was saying is that the loan fee is not excessive for a player of his quality, Dont understand why he hasnt been picked up by a Premier League club. He proved his ability last year when he shone in a dreadful Leicester side.

They are likely to be top eight at least and that is not our target. The buy part of the deal is also only triggered if Wolves get promoted.

But, as you say, unlikely to happen to them. I'll be shocked if (barring injuries) Jimenez doesn't get at least 20 goals. He's still good enough for the PL in my opinion, despite his age - got 9 for Fulham last season.

Because some people think that Cardiff City FC is the center of the footballing universe & that everyone wants to, or should want to, play for us as we're the capital city of Wales. I'm sure we all think that sometimes when players go somewhere other than here, I know I occasionally have & do. But like you say we're newly promoted & according to the bookies we are among the favourites to go straight back down & we are way down most player's lists of places to play.
