BBM on Joel Bagan:
‘We’re quite stretched in that position, but I thought Joel was brilliant. Playing against Kieffer Moore is a difficult task for anybody, but he played the game exactly how we wanted and gave us real control and composure in the heat of battle. That really helped.’

Thought Bagan was excellent, last night.
He battled well against the experienced Moore, but was also comfortable on the ball with his quick passing.
The Championship is a big step up, but he looked up to the standard last night...

Be a mistake to keep him in that position until chambers or lawlor is ready imo.

whats the alternative? Considering the dirrence in the opposition I thought he was better than NG was against Swindon

Yes I have to agree with you.
Goodness knows what our back four will be on Saturday if Osho is injured because my impression from what BBM said post match is that we won't bring in a centre half.
Kpakio
Ng
Bagan
Scanlon
That would be a major worry.

Agree, I’d have no problem keeping Bagan at centre half until the others are fit. He was close to MOM and is a lot better there than NG.
Scanlon was my MOM at left back so I don’t see any problem with it either.

Looks more likely now .

Don’t know why anyone would be surprised at bagan LCB doing well. It’s not like he was rubbish when he played there under Riza. He was one of the few that actually stood up. He’s had a full season of weekly first team football since then. If we have to start the season with him there then I’m more concerned by who plays with him. Thr left side with him and scanlon were good Monday imho.
We could do with a short term loan or signing to sort the right side out especially if Osho isn’t right. We can’t rely on a 16 year old even if he does look mid 30s!!!

I thought Bagan did well, another reason I don't want us to sign a CB.
