I think there are several reasons.
First home game against Wrexham in years, school holidays so kids don't have to be up the next day, good weather (won't be too hot or freezing cold) and obviously are first game back in the Championship in over a year.
Monday night kick off sort of helps because most people won't be doing other things, like they would if it was on a Saturday or Sunday.

First game. Wrexham is a sort of "derby" even though it's not really. I predicted a full house as soon as the fixtures came out, I don't think it's going to quite be full but over 30 probably. While the weather does bring about extra fans you can get a full house midweek with the right opposition no problem (Chelsea last year). Hopefully we put on a good showing and get the average up for the rest of the year

I believe the big crowd is the holllywood effect. As said many times it pisses me off when we have big attendances because the other team is the attraction. Our grounds to big for us to keep it to just people who are there for city, Hollywood tourists this time, be sane for West Ham back to normal then for everyone else.

Your usually pretty close on the money but I also think it's the city bounce from last season 50/50 with Holywood b.llocks plus there north wales which also has something to do with it enjoy jonesy
