Your hot take for the new season?

New season for us about to start.

So what is your hot take? As in, what do you think could happen for us that most people don't talk about?

For me, I have two:


I think Osho will prove his critics wrong and have a stellar season.

The other is that I think Willock will score at least ten goals. He's done it in the Championship before but needs the right coaching, which he has.

My hot take is rubin will finally have his break out season and set the championship alight , all the doubters will finally see the light

Rubin will as useless as usual and others will start to accept it.
Robinson will play a big part again this season.

This weekend next year we won't have a game.

Ashford will make a big mark for himself this season, and i wish them all well for the season ahead.

As long as he stays injury free it could be our last season with him in the team so enjoy it while we can.

Jonesy-valleyboy27 will realise that Rubin is a really good player confirming the views of BBM and opposing fans ( as well as the vast majority of Cardiff City fans ).

Teams will come to the CCS, sit in, wait for the inevitable mistake, and punish us. We won't score enough goals, and they'll be grumbling by Christmas.

Moylan, Osho & Bagan will be our standout performers.

I think we will have bids for Robertson and salech in January because they are my tip for hot takes.

Maybe I will I hope so as want nothing better, we may even get other clubs up in the premier league putting a bid in for him when all these other professional coaches see what a talent he is in his breakout year at 35 years old. Lol.

Joel Colwill to make a big impact .
Ashford & Davies to find out if they got it .
Salech could be the surprise if supplied properly
Trott will be important as a ball player and keeper .

Robinson maybe a useful substitute.

The rest will have to considerably raise thier A Game..

I assume most fans would be happy with that.
However, the pessimist in me suggests 12th or lower, unless we have a few 'quality' new signings that BBM often wishes for.
Without these, I would imagine we will return to the same people slagging off certain individuals, which in one regular posters instance, has already started!!

God knows, anything could happen, we will have a better idea tomorrow.

It could be a bit like West Ham's opener, where the owners now know and the Manager is asking for more players, or maybe we will realise we are a good team already in this league.

We will quickly realise how useless our defence is without being able to dominate possession and without Wintle (last seasons player of the season and our only player who is a natural in the role of sitting in front to protect our defence!) protecting.

We are actually going into this season with a weaker midfield to last season, what a mess!

Wrexham will score a minimum of 2 goals against us, but it won't surprise me if we concede 3 or 4.

We still need another 6-7 new signings, otherwise we're getting relegated.

We are nowhere near ready for the new season and our current squad are still largely the same players who finished bottom of this league, conceding the most goals and throwing away the most points from winning positions.

How anyone can think we will have a comfortable, mid table season, is beyond me.

We will quickly realise how useless our defence is without being able to dominate possession and without Wintle (last seasons player of the season and our only player who is a natural in the role of sitting in front to protect our defence!) protecting.

Lawlor held our defence together last season. Without him, we conceded an average of 1.6 goals per game.

Lawlor isn't playing, Wintle has left, so I'm expecting us to concede a minimum of 2 goals tonight.

We won't be able to dominate possession like in League 1.

To be fair, last season you said we'd struggle too and said I was living in cuckoo land for believing we'd get promoted.

Now of course the Championship is a different animal and we need additions.

I don't think we'll trouble the top eight this season but I also don't think we'll get relegated.

Would be satisfied with a draw tonight because Wrexham are better than us, they will have high hopes of being in the play-offs.
