Who's doing the Wintle roll for Monday ?

With no direct replacement for wintle who is taking the ball from defence and being the defensive midfielder
Can't have Osho bringing the ball out of defence then massive gaps out of position.
Moylan might be the one but he's more attacking midfielder
so its Turnbull or Robertson.

Don't think it's a mystery, it'll be Robertson and he's looked good there in pre-season.

Robertson will play the 6 and im hoping he has Joel next to him instead of Turnbull for this game as i think we will needs Joel's all action energy

Robertson struggled in this role last season. There were a couple of games he was a red card waiting to happen and we had to sub him to avoid the risk of him getting sent off.

Turnbull is decent on the ball but doesn't have the mobility to track runners.

It's not crazy at all. It's pretty obvious that BBM's project for the season is to use Robertson as the six.

I don't disagree with you about him playing there next season but BBM has obviously decided he wants to improve Robertson to play there - don't forget he played there under BBM at Man City.

Robertson has done well there in pre-season. We all know league games are a different animal, so we will see on Monday and beyond.

However, I trust the manager's judgement unconditionally so will back him to make this a success.
