CCFC Stadium Exterior and Surroundings

The Club confirmed several improvements to the outside of Cardiff City Stadium:

New imagery will be added during the coming season
Brick restoration work is already underway near the Ninian Park Gates
Further display plans are being developed



The Trust also re-raised the idea of lamppost banners to improve the approach to the stadium. The Club noted that this had previously been discussed with the Supporters Club, and a price was provided by the Club’s signage contractors. The project is unlikely to be progressed without external funding.







Trust Commentary

The Trust appreciates the clarity provided by the Club and recognises the financial pressures facing all Championship organisations. However, we must also reflect the views of our members, many of whom have consistently expressed a desire to see progress on heritage‑related projects and improvements to the stadium environment.

A number of the items discussed — including the museum, badge review, red seat replacement and wider stadium presentation — are long‑standing supporter priorities.

The Ninian park gates need re painting and still no fan area outside the ground!!!

Some new players would be nice.

A fan zone would be nice with outdoor seating and some games for the kids.

Stadium needs a good scrub, looking grubby especially the grange end .

It's good they're doing something, although understand people want more.

Fan zone would be great but as with banners, it would probably need funding from local authorities or outside investment.

Worcester, Steve borleys company revamped the facilities at the vale surely he could do something for outside the stadium ie (fan zone) they had a small area outside Wycombe's ground last season that worked well especially now we are back in the championship!!
