Red Seats at CCFC
Replacing the remaining red seats would be a significant investment.
The Club indicated that the cost would be £350,000–£400,000, based on approximately 5,000 seats at around £70 each, plus delivery and installation.
The CCFC Trust recognises that this scale of expenditure is unlikely to be prioritised given wider cost‑management pressures.

Imagine how much better the ninian upper and the ground on the whole would look if the reds seats were changed to blue.maybe one day in the future annis.

Could they not recoup some of that cost by selling them ,they have not been used for years so should be in reasonable order.

Very labour intensive i would imagine, put the Millwall fans up there when we play them, at least they would remove the seats for free.

I agree,
Mark, The Hierarchy this week said NO to everything if it required money input.

Perhaps the Trust could start a fund-raiser for this?
Buy a seat/adopt a seat?
I'd prefer blue seats, but it doesn't bother me too much that they're red.

What a good idea..maybe this forum could do a fund raiser.. that would be good publicity.. but i guess would need to ensure enough people would be willing to buy as would be embarrassing if target not reached..
I quite like how the big flags cover the seats.. personally I have no problem them being red but blue would be better.
I can see that the club won’t pay.. as resources are tight enough as it is.

Don’t have a problem with the red seats Yes i would prefer them to be blue I would rather invest that money elsewhere. Get a full stadium and no one would care.

£70 each for an uncomfortable plastic seat?
Someone's taking the piss.
Game's gone.

Don't like them, wish they were a different colour.
But while people are intensely winding themselves up over transfers, do they not think that money would be better spent on that wages/transfers?
Agree that the Trust or someone should set up a fundraiser, although I suspect the club could find another way to say they won't change the seat colours.

Is it cheaper to have the seats sprayed blue? You see online people spraying window frames, kitchen units, seams like everything can be sprayed these days.

Problem solved. Simple solution. I'd buy one.

I believe that 5,338 were added....the white ones could stay of course, keeping the Ayotallah.
Not sure how many that would leave....any fancy counting ?

Annis as u know I live in Lincoln and they have just spent £4.5m on doing up their stadium Ìt actually looks half decent lol
My point is they have just 2 or 3 stands with about 6-7 thousand RED SEATS Ìf our hierarchy were switched on that could have been a good deal for both clubs tbh

Surely we can do it cheaper, fans could donate a quid per game and split it 50/50 with the club, get the tradesman in the fan base to change the seats for free.
You only then have to get someone to check them after fitting...
Box outside think... rearrange.
